Before I post anything about my show yesterday I want you to give respect to this gentleman in the photo. Former IFBB classic physique champion turned to 12 division bodybuilder George “Da Bull” Peterson, passed away just two days out from competing at this weekend's Mr. Olympia. Out of respect for him and his loves It’s not my place to make any statements about this. I’m only going to say I met George Petterson briefly at North Americans this year during my girlfriend's competition. We may have talked for barely 60 seconds but in that time I could see how much of a genuinely humble and respectable athlete this individual was. The day we spoke he gave me some motivational words, he shook my hand and went on his way. As a brief, as it was I am extremely grateful I got the opportunity to speak with him before he left this world. A lot of people don’t understand how extremely dangerous the sport of bodybuilding can be especially leading up to a competition. There’s is no other sport that can compare. For thise who don't really know the sport understand this, you are a bodybuilder 24 hours a day, seven days a week especially when you are in the midst of competition prep. Shout out to @nicktrigilijr For addressing issues that cannot keep getting swept under the rug and ignored in his latest YouTube video on the channel ( Bodybuildng and Bullshit). Sleep well George and thank you for taking your time to talk with me in Pittsburgh at that moment and showing me your respect, humility and kindness that so many people talk about. Rest easy. #georgedabullpeterson #classicphysique #212bodybuilding #npc #ifbb #bodybuilding https://www.instagram.com/p/CUvl97zM9eX/?utm_medium=tumblr
