》𝟚𝟚 𝕚𝕟 𝟚𝟚 QOTD 》How has your Twosday been? Saw this happening & Lisa @shelfdetermined made it look like fun lol, so here are 22 facts: 1. I haven’t had a haircut in more than a year & my hair reaches past my butt atm; it’s annoying because I keep accidentally sitting on it & getting whiplashed. 2. I once had a peacock follow me around the zoo. Idk why. 3. I’ve gotten lost in NYC, France, & Germany. I got on the wrong train. Every damn time. 4. I’ve had my lunch stolen by a squirrel: it ran right onto my lap & took my fries away. 5. I am 5’ tall. Well, 5’ if you’re a nice doctor, 4’11” if you’re not. 6. I survived nesting season on a conference trip to Ontario, where my partner was almost attacked by a Canadian goose. 7. I couldn’t start my car one morning because the key wouldn’t go into the ignition. It just wouldn’t go in. Then the following week, my battery died. 8. I hate driving because I grew up in LA & sitting in traffic for hours is not driving; I’d rather take a nap in the passenger seat. 9. I don’t know what a cavity feels like, never had one; still hate going to the dentist tho lol. 10. I found out I have half siblings through Facebook. 11. I sat through half a dinner meeting with some friends at uni before realizing it was a cult. tl;dr: cont. in comments 》 The things I get myself into. xo Noelani #22in22 #twosday #22facts #bookstagrammersunite #readersofinsta #readerslife #newbookstagram #bookstacks #bookpile #aboutme #factsaboutme #gettoknowme #bookishgirl #bookcommunity #igbook #bookishphotography #bookaddiction #bookwormsunite #lovetoread #idratherbereading https://www.instagram.com/p/CaTOLdFJtmh/?utm_medium=tumblr

#Repost @marleysmutts ・・・ Today, for #22in22 day 16, we have selected a very special dog from the Lancaster shelter to honor a very special woman who is struggling with metastatic breast cancer. Susie Riehl, aka Honey, we honor you and your battle by naming our newest rescue after you! She too is battling beast cancer, which an oncologist will give us a better judgment on soon. The #MuttMilitia sends loving, healing vibes your way! We love you, we love your daughter, @mollyriehl, and we are pulling for you and with you as you address this foe. Everybody, if you would please, take a minute to honor Suzy, and anybody in your family who may be struggling with cancer.

There are definitive moments, when you stumble upon harsh realities or discover simple epiphanies along the way. At 22, here are 22 I've learned along the way. 1 - some of the worst things are done with the best intentions 2 - live by the motivation that someone is always working harder than you. Because they are. 3 - respect others. Especially those that don't respect you. 4 - always practice making new good habits 5 - don't talk down about anyone who makes their living a different way than you choose to 6 - learn from others mistakes as much as you do from your own 7 - sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is to sit in silence with them 8 - be open to other opinions, but be well versed in yours 9 - try your hardest not to categorize others 10 - don't own your bad days. Only rock your good days. 11 - always say that you're good when someone asks how you are. It shuts the door to elaborate on anything negative. 12 - lose yourself - in books, music, travels, and others stories. 13 - don't complain about something you can change 14 - you can learn more outside of a classroom than in, but that doesn't devalue education 15 - don't follow all the rules. No one has. 16 - sit next to the one that stands out 17 - do that spontaneous thing you claim you don't want to 18 - different is the best thing you can be 19 - always stay optimistic 20 - always say you love someone that you do before hanging up the phone or saying goodbye 21 - listen more than you speak 22 - always follow constructive criticism with a compliment
***Consider yourself challenged*** (If you want to see my daily progress you can do so on my FB page Lisa Jey Davis Health & Fitness Coach. I will not be posting these videos here daily). DAY 1 Okay ladies and gentlemen... no one challenged me personally, but I decided to take up the challenge anyway, because this cause is ridiculously important. I was astounded when I heard the stats that 22 Veterans a day commit suicide. This cannot continue. So, consider yourself challenged, even if I did not tag you. The beauty is, there is no deadline to do this. You can do it any time! Just do it. And watch your form! #22kill #22in22challenge #22in22 www.22kill.com tagging my sporty friends: @kimberlyrapoza @rawfitnessla @linzwhit @lagreefitnessstudio @archerpilates @lagreefitness @stasiapatwell @nikki_knee @tomschanley @rogernotpinkfloyd @jonlindstrom (at Lisa Jey ' S Fitness Chalet)
