"Jamie? I didn't even see him, before you left! Uff, what a stud!" I said as I realised it was him, stepped closer to feel those massive guns, that chest, that jawline. I love it, when he does that!
"Now where do we find something to go along with that?" I wondered, playing with his lips, shivering at his smile while I felt his strong hands on my around me...
CC: I will need to connect after my goofball moirail does so I can keep my goggles on )(is nefarious escapades. CC: Its a toug)( job but its important! Everyone )(as an important job to do.
Karkat mentioned the moirail in his conversation with Vriska. At the time, I thought it sounded like a more typical romance - the love to a kismesis’ hate - but looking at CC’s phrasing here, I’m not sure that makes sense anymore.
She calls the guy a goofball, which sounds like a pet name - but she also feels responsible for keeping an eye on him, which is apparently a tough, important job. This doesn’t sound like romance - it sounds like an obligation.
CC: Isnt t)(at w)(at youre doing too? Joining late to keep an eye on yours? GA: I Dont Know For A Fact That She Is Mine CC: )(a)(a youre not supposed to know for a FACT dummy! CC: You just do w)(at you t)(ink is rig)(t and even if you were wrong t)(e worst t)(at )(appened was you )(elped somebody and )(elped t)(e w)(ole world too!
Well, now I’m not even sure a moirail is a type of relationship. It sounds more like a certain way you can feel about a troll - and it’s a feeling that ‘helps the whole world’.
I think that when a troll sees someone as a moirail, it’s a manifestation of an instinct that doesn’t exist in humans. This instinct has something to do with ‘helping’ the target of their feelings - and troll society places great value on this ‘help’, so you’re expected to embrace this feeling.
One thing that is pretty clear by this point is that Karkat isn’t the only one who knows about this stuff, despite what his conversation with Vriska would have you believe. Maybe she’s the odd one out, and this is actually common knowledge.
CC: Your clouds tell you everyt)(ing so w)(at do you even )(ave to worry about? GA: They Dont Tell Me Everything GA: Just As I Am Sure She Doesnt Whisper Everything To You CC: T)(ats true. CC: O)( s)(ucks now Im going to get sad. CC: S)(e will be gone soon. 38(
She’s apparently about to die, so I think we’re talking about CC’s lusus. I expected some sort of fish, but that doesn’t track with these ‘whispers’.
Maybe CC, like Terezi, has a mythical creature for a lusus. She might have an aquatic dragon - or a kraken.
CC: T)(oug)( I guess it will be a relief not to )(ave to worry about keeping )(er voice down anymore! GA: I Wonder If Any Other Kid On The Planet Has As Many Burdens In The Fire As You GA: I Doubt It CC: T)(ey arent burdens! CC: Ok I guess t)(ey are )(a)(a.
I take it Vriska isn't the only one with a problematic lusus.
What sort of mythical creature has a dangerous voice? All I can think of is a banshee, but they’re not aquatic.
