Psalm: Day 1

Christ is my shield;

I am safe from all harm. 

He comforts me in the day;

He ends my fears in the night;

He is the peace of my soul.

Though accusations rise on every side,

Though I fall on a rocky path,

My hope is not lost,

For You are faithful.

Your arms lift me;

Your spear has rescued me.

When I wait long days 

To see Your salvation,

Your words are with me.

Could I doubt You, 

Who has never failed me?

Or your love 

That never ceased?

No, I walk in Your presence forever.
