The Starting Line Up
Alright friends! Who wants to run with me? Below is a list of races I’ve already registered for (many more to come)....
October 31, Hot Cider 5k, Wheaton November 8, Hot Chocolate, Chicago November 28, Turkey Trot, Schaumburg December 5, Santa Run, Arlington Heights
I am looking for a race for Thanksgiving day- I found one in Palatine, if I can get a group of 6 people, it is then a discounted price! Who wants to join me?!

Does anyone have other race suggestions? I’m looking for some to add!
Happy Birthday to Me
October 9, 2015. That’s the first last day of my 20′s. It is amazing how a number can cause such animosity; I’m not old enough to be 29! But alas, it is so.
My 20′s have been great. I earned my bachelor’s degree and my masters, bought a house, finished a project car, bought a brand new car, became a runner, completed a half marathon, began my dream job, adopted a dog, started traveling and married the love of my life. With so many accomplishments and monumental moments, of course I don’t want to say goodbye.
My 28th year was a whirlwind. I was planning a massive wedding and had almost every weekend booked with events. I started doing Yoga but also ran much less. That being said, I have decided to get back on the bandwagon and go out of my 20′s with a BANG. It’s time for me to get back in shape and get back to my half marathon trainings (full marathons are out of the question). So, I figured, why not do 29 races in my 29th year? When you break it down, it’s really only 2-3 races a month. TOTALLY DOABLE.
Don’t get me wrong, I am going to try my best to rope in all my friends and family to run with me. Harassment overload. But, if I end up running alone that’s fine too. After all, it’s my 29th year, I need to make it memorable. Lace up, let’s do this.
