Happy 2 Year Anniversary for 2AL, @intotheelliwoods!! I wanted to join in the celebration with Ell's Redraw Competition!

Originally I was planning to do some cool shot, but then decided I'd rather just draw my all-time favorite scene in the whole series. Poor Big Leo... hang in there, buddy.

Thanks again Ell for creating such a wonderful story that has truly moved me to tears and had me rolling with laughter!

@intotheelliwoods I know I’m late for the panel redraw deadline but I just could let myself live without drawing something for this amazing series you’ve made.

Watching this story and your art grow has been a wonderful experience, I never thought that it would end, and yet, all things eventually do.

And of course, thank you for continuing this story and brightening people’s day when things got rough (I know my day was brightened on many occasion :3).

I wish you well with your endeavors, you’ve been a real one ell, and you have my admiration and respect o7

Please, take any panel you want from the entire comic and redraw it however you feel! It doesnt have to be your favorite, it can just be one you think looks cool, or you think it could have been better in your style :)

You do not have to add color if you do not want to, you can also do what I do with flats!

It does not matter how old the update is for you to redraw it, you can also redraw panels for updates I am planning on making later this month!

You can also redraw panels from the mini comics

its only just barely technically still February where i am so idk if this counts for the 2al redraw event BUT i had a blast working on these and Big Leo interacting with grown Sprout makes me emotional so.

so originally i actually intended to redraw a panel from like a more plot-relevant moment but then ell posted this moment and it just really hit home for me — one of the things in 2al that i love so much is just like how much hope there is throughout. how much love and joy. like the leos are literally stuck in this horrible looping pattern of loss, almost a doomed destiny narrative of sorts, but throughout the whole narrative theres levity and light even in dire circumstances — and it comes from loving yourself and those around you and participating in the joys of the present moment and just idk man like.

yes there are terrible foes that feel impossible to face alone. yes life has taken a lot from me. yeah. but. i will put on my shirt today. i am going to have a good day today.

so ofc i had to draw this one, but tbh im not super thrilled with how sprouts face came out in the end?? SO i went through some of my fave mini comics and did the one with Big Leo and Sprout bc, again, im emotional.

Gotta make the post on this account because stupid shadow ban is stupid and Tumblr support still hasn't contacted me. So many unexpected complications with this 😅 I'm just going to copy paste everything from the original post. "Something, something, panel redraw event thing @intotheelliwoods is doing for their comic's two year anniversary. I got real excited for it and immediately started looking for a panel. It was a struggle to choose which I wanted to redraw with how many there are. There's so many good ones! Too many to choose from, but alas I only have time for this one.

The moment I first saw this panel I absolutely loved it. Every time I see this post or think about it I can't help but notice how Sprout's lifeforce looks like wings when cut so wings it be!

Ell, I get so excited every time I see you've posted something. Thank you for creating such a great story!
