like it was pretty solid at first but then i swapped out the placeholder images and added the clips and suddenly THE TEXT JUST KEPT SHUFFLING ON ITS OWN???

i was convinced i was going insane btw .. even updated the app thinking that might fix it but nope

thank god the end result is somewhat decent ;-;

anyway.. i’m gonna go ignore my uni work and ignore battle my social anxiety for the busy week ahead by doing some scripting :3

kpop dr 1 — a glimpse of our yearning

.. i’d like to thank @timelostheart and @bunniedior for encouraging me to talk more abt this bcs why are we not?? like fr let’s get it together ..

✶⋆— the gaze is undeniable, man stares at me as if i'm this once in a lifetime celestial phenomenon and he wants to witness every second of it, and when he looks away it's like he has to stop himself from looking back, rapid blinks and pursed lips, trying to maintain some semblance of control in front of cameras

✶⋆— i’d have barely started the joke and he’s already laughing, the kind of guy who knows what i’m abt to say and mentally hears it in my exact tone and inflection, with the precise cadence of the way i speak, he insists the jokes hit diff bcs he knows exactly how i’ll say it

✶⋆— likes to mentally jot down every little thing he notices throughout the day that reminds him of me, be it a notebook that looks like my exact style or a perfectly shaped autumn leaf, or those flowers that look like they could be fairy dresses that i love to take photos of, he’d remember it and he’d casually drop these little tidbits in conversation. and before we started dating, it would be like a way for him to gauge my reaction, basically trying see if i’m picking up what he’s putting down

✶⋆— memorises my go to fast food orders bcs he swears it’ll come in handy one day, and it does, many times, one of our first unofficial dates was burgers and hot chips in my car, didn’t realise it then but he knew that shit by heart

✶⋆— picks up my vocab in a way that has people around him raising eyebrows bcs wdym park—only says the words “figure skating” fluently—sunghoon is suddenly going “i’m kind of a genius” every time he does smth cool (fyi, that’s one of my go to phrases in person)

✶⋆— the type to carry my favourite perfume in his bag, like a small travel size one, and it works in two ways, a) it’s there in case i need to use it, and b) he won’t admit this but it’s nice to have smth that smells like me with him, esp when we go a long while without seeing each other bcs of schedules, like smth that calms down the part of you that gets homesick for a person

✶⋆— the gradual increase in physical contact >>> before, when we were just mc partners, just friends, even the slightest brush of an elbow would have us apologising to each other (most bcs of the cameras) but as time goes on, it’s so clear that we’re closer, high fives turn to hand holding and before you know it, fans are going crazy clipping the moments where he brushes my hair behind my ear or puts a hand on my lower back when the stage gets more crowded during those award show photos

✶⋆— the type of guy that has to fight to control his smile at even a mention of my name, and it gets to a point where everyone knows, whenever i’m referred to or when i’m on stage and the camera pans to me, it then always goes to sunghoon for his reaction, without fail, every time. and he pretends like he’s annoyed by it when we talk abt it (mainly bcs i tease him) but truth be told, it’s such an ego boost for him, that people see me and their immediate thought afterwards is him

✶⋆— resident rage baiter but he makes up for it so well, has me ranting, hands animated and my words involuntarily switching to english in order to express just how ridiculous smth is (wtv it may be) only for him to stand there with the most annoyingly handsome grin, like he’s just won the most important rock-paper-scissors game in history, and then he does that undeniably unc sigh, hands on hips, mutters abt how lucky he is and walks off like i didn’t just blow a fuse

✶⋆— adores the size difference, yes it’s cliche but it’s so true, like i’m not even that short, i’m 170cm, that’s decent height, and i’m the tallest in my group, but that’s precisely why he loves it bcs wdym the tallest member of clarity looks small next to him (except i don’t, he just lacks perception bcs of his inherent downbadism)

✶⋆— the kind of guy to let me talks his ear off abt wtv tf i’m hyperfixated on, like whether it’s quantum mechanics or random meta analysis of a children’s movie the incredibles he’s sat and listening, and he actually pays attention too, will learn some random trivia knowledge and proudly says that he got it from me whenever someone asks how he knows smth

✶⋆— learnt that married indian women put sindhoor on their foreheads, specifically the middle part of their hairline, and insists that it’s his favourite spot to kiss me, just the way i like kissing his moles, he likes kissing just below my hairline, and the oh so typically sunghoon part abt this? he’ll keep the reason to himself, he won’t tell me why, until i ask

answering for my kpop dr ; 2byeol edition

i. personality — soft + comforting or chaotic + teasing

⟢ if there was a way for a person to encompass everything it would be sunghoon and it’s really difficult for me to try and pick one aspect, but if i had to, it would be teasing — he is a d1 rage baiter and he enjoys teasing me a bit too much ;-;

ii. first meeting with s/o — slow burn "who is this?" or instant connection

⟢ i’d been in the industry almost 4 years by the time i met sunghoon (who’d debuted a few months ago) so he already knew who i was bcs clarity had established themselves, so it was def a slow burn esp from my side — the progression of learning abt each other, going from acquaintances to peers to friends to more, it truly felt so seamless that neither of us can pinpoint when exactly we fell for each other

iii. love language — words of affirmation or physical touch

⟢ out of the options given, he’s more physical touch, i’m more words of affirmation — if we’re being more detailed, he’s actually acts of service, both of us are — we pay attention to each other, a lot, it’s like one of our favourite parts of life is to notice and analyse and appreciate is each other

iv. dates with s/o — late night rooftop talk or daytime cute cafe date

⟢ def late night rooftop talks — this is pretty accurate bcs we can actually access our roof from our dorm house attic, it’s very wide and for the most part, pretty flat, so yes, we have spent summer nights camped out under the stars, coming up with stories with wtv made up constellations we can see

v. s/o style — protective + jealous or chill + confident

⟢ he’s like chill and confident and yet . also protective? idk he doesn’t really like other guys in my space but he won’t say or do anything drastic, he’ll just manoeuvre himself to be near me in case he needs to step in — it’s less of a “you can only talk to me” and more of a “should i be worried?” — and it helps that i’m not someone who likes making my partners jealous, i literally hate doing that bcs i’d hate if they do that to me

vi. scripting method — in detail or going with intuition

⟢ a mix of both — i have very specific things i want to happen, certain vibes that i wanna capture in certain experiences, and yet i don’t write them out — i go with intuition on the actual scenarios and situations that i’m scripting, but in my head, i have a very detailed feeling and emotion that i want to evoke with each scenario

vii. s/o communication — handwritten notes or late night phone calls

⟢ late night phone calls for sure, also a lot of texting like a lot of back and forth, he does give me handwritten notes with presents tho bcs i mention how much i love his handwriting (it’s literally beautiful) but phone calls are such a go to

viii. first kiss vibe — gentle + emotional or out of nowhere + passionate

⟢ it goes from gentle to passionate — we’d been friends for four years at that point, and in that time we knew we liked each other and yet didn’t do anything abt it for fear of change — so all that build up and all that yearning basically comes flooding out after that first hesitant soft kiss

ix. relationship aesthetic — cozy domestic (sweats & cuddles) or adventure couple (late night drives & exploring)

⟢ our schedules aligning is like a miracle okay? we barely have time to be adventurous (which sucks bcs we’d love to be) so a lot of the time we spend is at home, but that’s fun too, the most we do in terms of “adventuring” is evening drives to watch the sunset and then taking the scenic route back home so we can listen to as many songs as possible

x. s/o vibe — golden retriever or black cat

⟢ he’s such a doberman bf (>///<) it’s like the protective aspects of a golden retriever but the more subdued aspect of a black cat, but he’s still energetic and frankly still a bit of a weirdo /lovingly lmao he’s the doberman to my orange cat :3

xi. shifting environment preference — peaceful, dim room with music or complete silence

⟢ dim room, any background noise is just the air con which ends up feeling like a white noise machine, silence is okay but music is still lovely, depends on my mood

xii. confession style — nervous + blushing or confident + bold

⟢ the confession was a LONG TIME COMING T^T basically four years of friendship, and in those four years, there was two years of yearning so yeah, a lot of rambling and nerves and faces heating up while we try to keep our composure even tho it feels like we’ve been waiting to get to this point for ages

xiii. argument style — quiet talk + resolving softly or fiery tension that ends in making up

⟢ there is definite tension but it’s the quiet sort — he doesn’t like yelling and it’s hard for me bcs i certainly do, i get louder when i feel like i’m not being heard, but he’s a good influence on me — it’s better to take a beat, take a breath, bcs it’s the two of us vs the problem

xiv. morning moments — sleepy cuddles or playful teasing and stealing blankets

⟢ SLEEPY CUDDLES RAAHHHH listen listen there is smth so unmatched abt feeling yourself waking up, squinting at the morning light, turning to see the love of your life right there next to you, and shuffling closer to go back to sleep, unmatched

xv. surprise — s/o buys u a meaningful gift or plans a spontaneous date

⟢ idk.. he’s kinda both the meaningful gift type and a good spontaneous date — those are fun but again our schedules means that dates that are spontaneous aren’t super out there, they’re still very memorable tho — but the meaningful gifts hold a weight to them that i keep close to my heart, things that remind him of me, things that he saw me i look at online while sitting next to him, like that

i never get tired of that moment where our eyes meet and we just know that sometime tonight, in some corridor or some empty storeroom, we’ll get to sneak a few moments alone with each other

you’d think after the years in the industry, even after confirming our relationship publicly, you’d assume that the thrill of it would subside, but if anything, it’s kind of more fun — bcs at this point, people know, so what’s the worry?

i can confirm that backstage hangouts are very common among idols, green rooms become makeshift meetups for friend groups, and it’s not any different for clarity and enhypen

it’s just .. well, they eventually realise that sunghoon and i are missing, have been for a while, and it’s no shock to assume we probably ran off to some far corner of the event building

bcs, in my philosophy, what’s the point of having the perfect boyfriend if i don’t kiss him every chance i get?

debrief ;

HARD LAUNCH TIME !!

so, for some background, sunghoon and i tell our companies abt our relationship in august of 2025 and (bcs i’ve scripted incredible companies in my dr) they’re very accepting and supportive and even help hide it from the public

but they also pull through with the greatest hard launch idea ever — they get me and sunghoon an ambassadorship with calvin klein and we reveal our relationship with a photoshoot for their new lounge wear line 🤭

and yes, i copied the same statement given by both companies and just swapped out our names bcs icbf come at me

our battery life .•°

kpop dr — through the years with 2byeol ; 2025

debrief ;

sunghoon has this horrible habit of letting his phone’s battery get to below 10% and as an anxious battery gf, i’m the type to constantly stress over my battery if it gets below 70%

during our secret dating era, i won’t lie, sunghoon was subject to many a loving lecture by me about battery life and charging habits and eventually, i give him my power bank

well, some eagle eyed fans seemed to have noticed this particular parallel and while the theory isn’t confirmed ..

they’re not wrong :3
