December 13th, 2025 - ProSeka, vivid/stasis, Just Dance

EVERYBODY FREAK THE FUCK OUT!!!!! but only after these brief random proseka scores, where i sightread AP Treasure Garden [Expert Lv.28] and make some... surprising progress on AP'ing Kaiju ni Naritai [Expert Lv.32]!!! maybe full game Easy~Expert AP isn't so impossible after all... just 2 greats left to go...

okay NOW everyone PANIC AND FREAK THE FUCK OUT!!! those of you who've either followed my past posts or actively play vivid/stasis know the DUOSTORM ASCENCIA 2025 qualifiers have been out for a while now... but they just so happen to be ending in THREE DAYS (as of this post)!!! AND I'VE GOTTEN 0 PRACTICE WITH THE SONGS!!! in fairness, i recall the last two qualifiers from my past tourney experience with vivid/stasis, but i'm completely lost on both Tau and Images, and i haven't had any time to study them because i've been cramming for finals the entire duration of the tournament!!! worse, i hadn't even alerted or signaled my teammate Bomber to start practicing himself, so we were Both absolutely cooked... yet i still had hope . i clutched out my submission in DA24, my team pulled through to 5th in SS24 despite being super inconsistent, so what's to say we couldn't pull it off a third time?

and so, the epic 2DKaps DA25 training arc began... and WOW we sucked . yeahhhh way worse than we both anticipated . bomber wanted to do a practice run straight from the get-go to gauge our skills so far, and he failed out on Synthesis. [ENCORE 16] due to having harmony gauge on... but even still i was getting way off my PB!!! so our first run was a horrible 1756.8, not even within the top... 30? 40? of the tourney at the time . nevertheless we persisted... i got an AC on Tau [ENCORE 15, MAX-9], started learning Images [FINALE 15], and we joined back up to a... somewhat mediocre run . reset the first run because we both did bad, but i pulled through on the next with an upscore to MAX-6 on Tau... a slight new PB on Images... a 2-miss on QUASAR... and eating even MORE shit on Synthesis. to get a new qualifier score of...

...pretty good, eh?? of course, not the best, but it was a good start for how washed we were and how many days we had left to go (clueless)! spent the rest of the day trying to find my skill again and doing random stuff, like finally AC'ing 3, 2, 1, Let's Go [FINALE 15, MAX-11] (chart got nerfed though so it's not as special :[), getting an S+ on APOCALYPSE CALL [ENCORE 18] and a V on DeSPAROLA [BACKSTAGE 17], sightread AC'ing Wave Punch [FINALE 14, MAX-22], aaaand i guess FC'ing Luminaria [ENCORE 13] with 25% timing windows if that counts for anything???

even with all that, as night came and the day ended, i still felt super stressed and alert by the DA25 qualifiers and if we could even qualify into the tourney at this rate... iiit wasn't looking good ngl, and i felt like we would legit miss out on it no matter what, i just couldn't shake the feeling... so i played some Just Dance at midnight to shake off the nerves!! mayhaps not the best solution (and i was slightly reprimanded by my parents once they got back), but whatever works i guess...? (also got FP (Full Perfect) on Acceptable In The 80s so TAKE THAT!!!)

December 3rd, 2025 - Phigros, RoBeats!, ProSeka

dude i'm locked tf IN, no rhythm gaming the past two days?? unbelievable... but we're back in the house, for better or for worse, specifically to do a server challenge that involves playing Chronostasis in other rhythm games... and fortunately, i knew just the two rhythm games i knew how to play where the song was featured!!! phigros was an interesting pick because i was Suuuper rusty at the game, but i managed to lock in and memorize enough of the chart to get a 3-good FC i was proud of!!! as for RoBeats... it was considerably trickier and more punishing, but i pulled through and got the FC to submit!!!

oh also!! did you know tomorrow's my birthday?? you may or may not have known that, but did you also know that i share birthdays with a very cool and awesome proseka player who lives in japan and loves kyu-kurarin?? it's true!!! and so, in honor of his birthday (and while i wait for my own), i AP'ed the Master Lv.31 chart in ProSeka as Master AP #120!! watashi kyu kurarin (ignore the other score that one's not important)

November 29th, 2025 - Fortnite Festival, Arcaea, ProSeka

i don't knowwwww . fortnite season ending Instantly so hopped on to grind as many levels as i could in a day... not the greatest decision though . got to play this ridiculously hilarious song as a result though!! why this was added at the same time as Shelter? ...no idea

tackling the other (worse) difficulty of Particle, here's me getting the smallest and worst and awfulest and cringest and disgustingest PM upscore on the FTR-9 chart (MAX-31 -> MAX-28)... Fuuuuuck!!! I hate it!!!

and one last score of the day from proseka public rooms... SO DAMN CLOSE

November 23rd*, 2025 - ProSeka, vivid/stasis

the second asterisk!!! you already have the context if you read the addendum to yesterday's post about DJMAX, but basically: i got a few other scores along the way after the tourney that i wanted to share, but i didn't wanna take away from the tourney chronicles/saga writing either, so since i didn't really "play" any other games on this day... why not bunch up the other ones i played that day here?

so let's pick up where we left off by visiting a game i played... right after the tournament, i think? i was so engrossed in the tournament and pressured by my constant advancements in the bracket that i forgot about a very special... very beastly release happening that same day . it was none other than Project SEKAI's "Kaiju ni Naritai", released as a gift that night to everyone!! i didn't get to play it instantly because of the tournament (perhaps expecting to play it after being knocked out early or something), but once i Did finally get eliminated, i hopped into my besties' server's VC to stream my first reactions and playthroughs of each chart... even the Append... seriously a toughie though LOL, talk about beastly difficulty (please laugh)

since i was in VC though, and so were some of my friends who had watched and cheered me on during the tournament... what better way to celebrate than to play together and shake off all the remaining nerves? more specifically, we spotted a worldcross lobby in the vivid/stasis server and had to join in... that includes me, zolder, and bomber!!! and so Shenanigans ensue, mainly proving that unc (me) is washed and chopped at this game, and that i can't get scores like i used to... except for a random out-of-nowhere AC on the new Turn A [ENCORE 15+, MAX-10] despite not having seen the new chart and only going off what i remember from the old one . honestly... the old one was better, this one loses all the sauce and tech it used to have and ruins its legacy making it feel like a super generic 15+ . i'd much rather they have kept the chart in all its janky glory than make it forgettable and no longer formidable, but i digress... maybe it's just necessary changes as the game evolves, but i still think it's :^( (ohyeah and ofc i got my shit rocked by every other chart i haven't played much this year at all... and most of it is gimmick stuff i don't wanna bother to learn, except QUASAR BAYBEEEEE I LOVE QUASAR UNC CHART IS PEAK CHART LET'S GOOOOO)

and with that, the celebration slowly winded down and everyone headed to sleep... but it was really damn fun!!! and the reason i didn't just call this post "November 22nd, 2025 (2/2)" is because of the following scores... just a few extras from later in the day, but nothing too big!!! for proseka, all i got was this re-AP on Forward [Master Lv.28] that i had on EN but not on JP, technically making this Master AP #119! ...i guess

oh, and then i played even MORE vivid/stasis with ANOTHER friend who wanted to prep for both the upcoming vivid/stasis DUOSTORM ASCENCIA 2025 tourney and wanted to listen to some of my torturous screeching in VC!! ...probably less of the latter . and once again, i'm washed and unc and terrible at this game... but i Did snag a lobby win on The Night of Fright somehow!!! ...albeit not a very good one . ah well, i'll lock back in eventually... or maybe i won't, i kinda don't have the best relationship with this game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but that's for another time...

November 7th, 2025 - ProSeka, Arcaea

ahhh, what a good break from arcaea that was~~... but that was short-lived, it's back to the grind with you!! starting strong with the worst ever PM on Bamboo (FTR-10, MAX-65) to secure the FTR PM lamp on Extend Archive 1!!!

also briefly played ProSeka in an attempt to show off to my friends!!! 'twas also short lived, but i came across this chart after they left (we met up at my baby sister's party for a silly gathering) and isn't it the greatest thing ever??? GOD it's so fun... i love it, thank you colopale

October 30th, 2025 - Arcaea, Liminality, ProSeka

a MASSIVE series of happy-go-lucky super fun and enjoyable Arcaea scores!!! granted, all of these were for community server challenges, but all the upscores i got out of it... Zoo-wee-mama!

tried liminality for the first time only to play Uronmei and nothing else (i'll get around to it and play more soon i promise)

random new proseka AP? random new proseka AP? rediscovered this banger through the proseka 5th anniversary updates and fell in love, it's Soooo Damn Good... so here's me getting How-to World Domination [Master Lv.29] as Master AP #118 :] another 5 bajillion dollars to Neru

what happens next in this post will shock you... it's Even More Arcaea Scores!!! except this time they're... really good actually??? after ages and ages of slacking off on the charts, i finally got around to my duty and finally secured TRPNO (FTR-10, MAX-20) and Alexandrite (FTR-10, also MAX-20) as FTR PMs #268 and #269 respectively! still a decent few 10s i'm thinking of knocking out along the way, but this is a good start :eyes: ohyeah also FINALLY got the EX+ on Nhelv [BYD-10+], and with a solid 9947 at that! took me long enough... could probably make it higher anyways

who the hell approved this to be a 32 lmfao it's literally just keyboard 6K with like no notes :sob: ah whatever, 32 FC #14 and very soon-to-be AP lmfao (first 32 FC in 7 months though... damn)

October 28th, 2025 - ProSeka, Arcaea, DJMAX

I'M BACK AND REJUVENATED!!! maybe not Too rejuvenated, but i'm here with a vengeance!!! a vengeance born, of course, from procrastinating on my homework... but a vengeance nonetheless!!! and i guess it's not too big a vengeance given there's only one score from this entire session, but WHATEVER!!! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THIS INSANE SCORE I SET IN THE FOOD COURT OUT OF NOWHERE!!! in just 2 full attempts... an AP on Tetoris [Append Lv.29] as Append AP #17!!! HUGE!!!

Whatever . challenge score again . at least it's an upscore... (Dandelion (FTR-8, MAX-13 -> MAX-10))

aaand i guess i got these scores before heading off to bed?? nothing big once again, but!! got my DIAMOND IV placing result, FC'ed a new one FIGHT NIGHT (feat. Calyse) [8BSC 5*] on sightread, and placed into Platinum I, so that's quite nice :]
