Heyo! I've got a specific plot in mind that I really want to roleplay and I'd love it if someone would be willing to start a long-term rp! Literate only please, reply lengths may vary depending on context, so sometimes they may be short or sometimes long but I would prefer to keep them longer!
Anyhow, the plot is Noodle is Murdoc's biological daughter. He hasn't seen her since she was a toddler since he was sort of a deadbeat and her mom had full custody of her until now. Her mother died, and now at 13 she is in Murdoc's care. There was a reason Murdoc didn't have anything to do with her, because he has no interest in being a parent. He doesn't have much of a choice now, and although he initially doesn't want to be a father there is a part of him that feels like maybe he could manage to be a good dad, and he doesn't want to make the same mistakes his own father had. He struggles to connect with his daughter (and most of the time is quite terrible) but he's trying and slowly will get better.
Stuart works at Noodle's school (whether you want him to be a teacher, or a counselor, or a school nurse or whatever is up to you!). He starts seeing more of Murdoc now that he's her guardian and especially because all of these changes in Noodle's life has her acting out a bit. Noodle trusts Stuart a lot, and when Stuart meets Murdoc he finds himself wanting to get to know the man more.
Russel is Murdoc's neighbor in his apartment complex. They've gotten along well for awhile but now that Noodle's around he's around a bit more often, mostly to make sure Noodle is being cared for properly and has everything she needs, and to occasionally lecture or teach murdoc what to do when he fucks up, especially because he's one of the few people murdoc will bother to listen to.
I'll be murdoc if you're interested in being Stuart! I'd prefer if you'd take on Noodle as well as I'd like there to be plenty of their weird father/daughter dynamic to be present, and so I'll take on Russel!
This plot has been in my mind in a while and I'd really love to find someone who'd be willing to play it out with me and explore the story!
If you're 18+, I don't mind incorporating nsfw stuff, but please don't make this be what the rp is centered around. I understand when it comes to shipping RPs it's an occurrence but when the rp revolves around them having sex, it just gets so boring and worn out. I want the focus to be on the emotional development between the characters and how their relationships grow and change as they get to know and trust each other. When it comes to Stu and Murdoc, sex might be a part of that, but I really don't want it to be the only thing!!
