Green Pirates ~ hidden treasure ~ event story (’Green’ as in ‘inexperienced’!)
The story starts with you and the 2nd Corps on board a ship headed for Mizuri Island to retrieve an Iris artifact. There is a strange magnetic field around the island so it’s impossible to use any warp devices to teleport there and you have to sail there the old-fashioned way. You have come along as the medical officer. However, the ship hits some rocks and soon starts to sink! Luckily the pirate ship Sirius happens to be nearby and rescues you. Captain Ryuga and his crew welcome you with open arms at first but their reception immediately turns chilly when they find out that you’re looking for the treasure on Mizuri Island. They try to dissuade Subaru, the leader of the 2nd Corps, from going but he refuses. Despite this, Sirius transports you safely to a nearby port where Subaru then contacts Shields for a new ship and the boys all take this chance to get new more pirate-y outfits! XD
Then it’s time to set off for Mizuri Island again. The boys have a meeting to discuss the best route to take to the island. You listen in but then soon begin to space out. Iori notices this and tells you to pay attention. You claim you were but are unable to tell him what has been discussed… Then Joshua scolds you for not paying attention… Joshua is very strict… T^T
After the meeting, you assist Subaru in the kitchen as he makes lunch for everyone during which Subaru expresses his concerns about how the 2nd Corps members don’t really seem to be connecting with each other. He says how his SP team members back home are very close-knit and greatly trust and support each other.
Lunch is served on deck and there isn’t really much conversation around the table. Then Subaru’s communicator rings and he excuses himself to answer it. You try to think of something to lighten the mood and help the boys bond. You remember that Mitsuhide and Joshua both love onigiri and ask what sort of filling they like. Mitsuhide and Joshua are shocked to find out that they’re both great onigiri fans and soon start talking animatedly about this ‘perfect food’, much to Soryu and Iori’s amazement!! XD Not wanting Soryu and Iori to be left out, you try to think of a common topic for them to discuss and remember that they’re both bad at dealing with women… Aand so they start talking about their women problems…! ^^;; Subaru comes back to find his boys all deep in conversation and is rather pleased to see this!
Time passes quickly and you’re soon at Mizuri Island. You head for the pyramid on the island where the treasure you seek is supposedly hidden. Inside the pyramid, you almost fall down a pit but the boys save you in time! Then Iori works on deciphering some symbols on the walls while Mitsuhide works on remembering the way back.
You soon arrive in a room filled with mist and Soryu suddenly approaches you, putting his arm round your waist, pressing close to you and basically going something like 'Hey babe, why don’t the two of us go back to the ship~?’ You know this is definitely not Soryu! And you’re right as the real thing comes to your rescue and the fake Soryu disappears into a pile of sand. Other fake Shield members appear but they are defeated as soon as you point out something about them that’s wrong.
After you leave the misty room, you come to a flight of stone steps where the Sirius crew are fighting against some other people who are trying to get the treasure. The 2nd Corps rushes forward to help them with Soryu and Joshua heading the attack. Iori and Mitsuhide act as their support, while Subaru commands the attack. You hang back and watch in awe.
When the enemy is defeated, you head up the stairs with the Sirius crew, then Subaru and Shin open the door at the top together, revealing a room laden with treasure. The atmosphere of delight is soon replaced with tension though as the pirates suddenly start reaching for their weapons when the 2nd Corps approaches the treasure. Then Subaru says that he knows Sirius is trying to protect the treasure and reassures them that Shields isn’t here to steal them. Shields just wants to see if one of the Iris artifacts is here. Ryuga confirms that Sirius is indeed protecting the treasure because there is a legend that bad things with happen if the treasure on Mizuri is ever disturbed, so there is a rule among all pirates that Mizuri is off-limits. That’s why they tried to dissuade the 2nd Corps from coming earlier.
Just then Iori spots what Shields is looking for - the Sandglass of Iris which controls memories. (But… didn’t they, well Saizo, already retrieve this in the idol event previously?? Is there more than one??) Just as he’s about to take it, he is interrupted by another pirate named Roy. Roy has come to steal everything and climbs onto a pile of treasure but ends up causing everything to tumble down… The pyramid then begins to collapse!! Everyone runs for their lives!
However, when you get to the beach, Roy has stolen Shield’s ship… Just when you are wondering how you’re ever going to get back to Iris without your ship, Ryuga invites all of you abroad the Sirius. Then he says though your mission didn’t go as planned, Shields and Sirius now have a closer bond than ever! Ryuga then throws a huge banquet to celebrate this!
During the feast, you are a bit worried about the boys as apart from Subaru, the others are all lightweight drinkers… However, it turns out you needn’t worry about them. Soryu and Shin are soon deep in conversation about guns, while Joshua and Mitsuhide are busy teaching some of the pirates how to make the prefect onigiri! XD No mention of what Iori is doing though… he’s been forgotten… poor Iori… End.
