Fighting Over Tiny Reader (1p vs 2p)
Allies:
America
You're going to be in for a wild ride with these two. They have a bit of a bitter sibling like rivalry between them, not only that, but neither are particularly fond of sharing. Their tactics are similar; it really boils down to who can grab your attention and keep it the longest. Both of them are going to try to one up the other. Oh, you want to be carried, well, obviously Alfred is WAY more careful than Allen, how about you sit in his hands, they're more comfortable anyways. Oh, you want to explore and see human things up close? Oh well Allen's your guy! Alfred is too much of a puss to really show you anything, Allen will take you anywhere you want to go. This all doesn't even mention that both are trying to be funnier than the other. They strive on your laughter, so they are going to try to do ANYTHING to get you to laugh. If you can handle the constant banter and loudness, you might find this to be enjoyable to some extent.
England
Two words. Passive aggressive. These two get along like oil and water. Arthur finds Oliver to be too aggressive, fake and untrustworthy. Oliver finds Arthur to be too stuck up, cowardly, and annoying. They are going to do everything in their power to make the other look bad. Arthur is going to make Oliver look too dangerous. You want to eat the pastries that Oliver made for you? You shouldn't you don't know what he puts in those things. You really shouldn't let Oliver hold you either, he doesn't have good intentions and who knows how he's going to treat a little thing like you. Oliver is going to make you think that Arthur doesn't really like you, making you think that Arthur is faking his affection towards you. Arthur doesn't truly want to be around you, he thinks he is far too good to be friends with someone so tiny. Arthur finds borrowers to be filthy, Oliver knows, he's heard Arthur complain about how you dress and how you look, Oliver doesn't mind though, he wants to dote and love you all day long! These two can be a draining combo, neither are mature enough to deal with this conflict like adults, and when they think you're not around they're constantly throwing passive aggressive insults and quips towards each other.
France
This is a calmer duo. Francis loves, loves, LOVES you, absolutely wants to just dote and take care of you forever and he will make that know. Francois, on the other hand, is much more subdued with his affection, it's hard to tell that he even wants to be around you at first. The main point of contention comes from Francis' smothering. Francois finds it annoying, not only because he finds it ridiculous but also because he thinks that his 1p is hogging up all of your time. This causes the 2p to lash out a bit at his counterpart, and even though Francis REALLY doesn't want to, he will let Francois get his time with you in; you can always tell that he's hesitant though. Francis seems to hold onto you long, takes more time to pass you into his counterpart's rougher palms, hesitant to leave you alone with the disheveled Frenchman; he knows that you won't be hurt, but he doesn't like that Francois can be so careless, even if the 2p is fond of you.
Russia
This combination is... scary. The two Russians are very intense in their own ways. Ivan is much more affectionate, much more smothering while Viktor is more intimidating, colder, more demanding in what he asks of you. Both really, really want you to only be with them, and like the two Americas, they are NOT willing to share you, especially with each other. Better believe that if you end up in either of their hands you will not be leaving. Like ever. Their grips with grow tighter, their fingers will tangle with your little limbs, they're more willing to crush you than let the other get a hold of you. It really comes down to the fact that both Russias think that you are theirs and theirs alone. Ivan just wants to spend time with his dear little friend! Who needs scary Viktor when you've got him! Viktor is possessive over you like how one is over a precious item, less of a companion. He's going to take good care of you, but only if you stop hanging around Ivan, clearly Ivan is too impulsive and childish, you're not safe with him anyway. If you end up in the same room as the 1p and 2p, bring a mask, their tension will suffocate a whole building.
China
These two will bug each other like siblings. Unlike other countries, they understand that fighting won't really get them anywhere. Neither of them are going anywhere and neither of them are going to back down. This being said, they will be willing to compromise; they are basically going to work out a schedule so both can have equal time with you. Think of it like joint custody! Both are pretty civil with each other for the most part, though Xiao is going to annoy the shit out of Yao if given any chance. He's going to poke at Yao's attitude, just because you are old doesn't mean you have to act like it! Yao gets a bit huffy at his counterpart for it, shooting back with his own saucy comments, but really, this is the most conflict you are going to get out of them. Both really just care about your wellbeing and are willing to put up with each other if that makes you happiest.
Canada
These two get along the best out of all of the 1p and 2p relationships. Both Canadas are pretty chill, just in different fonts. Because of this, not only are they willing to work out an agreement to share you, but they are also willing to hang out together as a group. It's really nice, you are going to be in good shape. These two are really gentle when it comes to tiny people, they respect your space and don't smother you like Russia or France. The only thing that might cause a little bit of discomfort is the nature of their jobs, with Matt's being much more aggressive. Matthew doesn't want you to see any part of that, but otherwise this duo is the best one could hope for.
Axis:
Italy
This one is messy. Luciano HATES Feliciano with a passion, so when he finds out that they both like you he's going to be so pissed. Feliciano, despite his cowardly nature isn't going to let Luciano just take you, he finds that to be unfair, and he likes you far too much just to roll over. That isn't to say that Feliciano is going to confront Luciano outright, absolutely not, Luciano might be stronger, but Feliciano is a hell of a lot faster. Know that with these two a lot of yelling is going to happen, mostly Luciano at a scared Felicano. You being spirited away is going to occur a lot as well. Every time Luciano manages to get your attention, gets some time alone with you, Feli is close by to steal you. Really, Feliciano is just so worried about you being alone with his 2p and is worried you're going to be hurt. Luciano tries to keep his cool around you, tries to keep his suave and cunning facade but the second his counterpart is near his bad temper comes out in full force. Not a couple you want to gain the attention of.
Germany
Ludwig and Lutz are somewhat similar to the two Chinas. Lutz is much, much laxer than his 1p and this gets on Ludwigs nerves terribly. They don't hate each other, they get along decently, but their work ethics and especially their handling of tiny being differ so heavily, causing tension. Ludwig thinks that Lutz is too lazy, too carless, often scolding the other for being too reckless with you. Lutz thinks Ludwig is too uptight, too much of a worrywart, often telling him that he needs to have more faith in you, you may be tiny, but you're not going to break. Despite the personality conflict, they manage to set up an agreement, though Lutz is always a little late returning you to Ludwig, often sleeping in and holding you against his chest so you can't leave. Both take good care of you but know that the bickering may start to become grating after a while.
Japan
Another tense one, but unlike England they keep you out of their quarrels, making sure to only when you aren't around. Kiku is very cautious with you, awkward sure, but he never puts you in any situation that would risk you getting hurt or make you uncomfortable. Kuro, on the other hand can be careless, less gentle. The main point of contention comes from this difference in handling. Kiku finds it both dishonorable and distasteful to be so rowdy and flippant with someone so little; Kuro doesn't really care, not wanting to go soft or treat you like glass just because of your size. Neither is going to get physical with each other about the issue, however they both are going to try to limit interactions with the other.
Romano
The girls are FIGHTING!!! I think that Lovino and Flavio would be like Feliciano and Luciano but switched with Lovino being much more aggressive than Flavio. Lovino finds his counterpart to be obnoxious, and this includes how he treats you. He can often be found telling his 2p that the constant dress up is stupid and that "they aren't a doll for you to parade around". Flavio usually just rolls his eyes and waves Lovino off, not taking him too seriously. Flavio is going to try to charm the pants off of you, making sure to spoil you; and while he likes doing this for the fun of it, he also uses it to his advantage, rubbing it in his 1p's face. Lovino is reluctant to admit that he is very fond of you, but his actions speak much louder than words and this is made especially clear when Flavio is around. With these two it basically a fight to get you to like them more than the other.
Prussia
Gilbert and Gillian is a hard one. Again, it comes down to the handling of you. Unlike Kuro or Francois Gilbert isn't mean to you, rather his rowdiness comes from a more playful angle. He would never hurt you, however his playfulness can grow out of hand, and this is what bothers Gillian the most. If you make it known that you don't really mind, then things will calm down but if it isn't explicitly stated or you show any signs of discomfort that is when things go south. Gilbert just thinks that he's having fun and that Gillian is just being overdramatic, it irritates him that Gillian acts as if you can't handle anything. Gillian gets frustrated at Gilbert's careless behavior and loud, cocky personality. He knows that someone small like you can't really protest and wants to be the one to help you out, even if it causes tension between the two players.
Nordics:
Denmark
Surprisingly, a calmer one. Mathias and Markell, despite the huge difference in personalities, can be civil when it comes to you. Both are protective and they know that fighting will only cause you discomfort and distress. That's not to say that occasional spats don't happen, Markell finds Mathias to be really, really, annoying, and Mathias thinks Markell is a stick in the mud, but they both love you, and they respect each other for how they care for you. Overall, they get along fine, better than most at least.
Sweden
Oh boy, this one is like the Italys in the sense that you will be passed around, A LOT. Berwald is normal, he treats you well, takes very good care of you, and is extremely gentle with how he holds you. Bernard, while mostly the same in these regards, he has an... unhealthy... way of showing his affection towards you. Why should his 1p get to take up your time? He doesn't even really talk to you, you should go with Bernard, he's the better caretaker anyways! Despite Berwald keeping a very close eye on you when his 2p is around, Bernard still manages to steal you away. You basically are the flag in their capture the flag game. Bernard is very possessive, and Berwald wants to save you from his counterpart. The tension in the room when both are interacting is thick. Good luck.
Norway
These two are going to kill each other. They REALLY do not like each other and they ESPECIALLY don't like you being around the other. Lukas is really respectful towards you, his handling of fairies and other mystical creatures aid him in how to take care of you, you're his little companion and you are one of the only people he hangs around on a daily basis. So with that being said, when he found out that not only does his 2p know about you, but is also fond of you, he goes into protective overdrive. His stoic face helps hide his distaste, but his actions make his opinions loud and clear (he may or may not attempt to choke Loki out). Loki does not care. Like at all. He thinks pissing of his 1p is funny and he does things on purpose to piss him off like dangling you between two fingers, squeezing you, tossing you in his hand, kissing you, and so on. Because Loki likes you, he might act gentler than he would with any tiny, but he's still gonna leave bruises. These two are going to fight both physically, magically, and verbally.
Finland
These two are similar to the Frances because of how Thurston pretends to not like you, despite his actions displaying his fondness. Tino really does not want you near his counterpart. He knows how short his fuse is and know how mean he can get, so when he finds you dangling in Thurston's fist the poor Fin nearly has a heart attack. Tino tries to keep you away from Thurston but doesn't want to be completely unfair either. His smile gets tight and nervous when Thurston asks demands for you, hesitating before reluctantly passing you off. He's mother hen-ing the whole time, causing his 2p to grow agitated and lash out. They are going to try to be civil around each other, but it really depends on if Thurston can play nice.
Iceland
You may be in danger. The two youngest of the Nordics don't like each other. Well, Emil doesn't like Egil, the 2p thinks they are the best of friends, much to the 1p's dismay. Emil finds Egil to be unsettling and really does not want you to be around him, not even for a second. Whenever Egil pesters Emil and you, Emil will hold you a little tighter, a little closer despite his embarrassment. The poor kid really is just worried for your safety. Egil really doesn't think anything is wrong. He just thinks that his two friends are hanging out and just wants to join in! Why isn't Emil letting him hold you? Why? Is it a game you're playing? That's fine! Egil will get his turn with you. That, he'll make sure of. Basically, Emil is going to do his best to hide you from Egil, but somehow the 2p always finds you.
