Don't give a voice to haters
Is there anything worse than being a hateful, twisted, toxic person? Yes, & that's being a hateful person with a VOICE. What I mean by voice is, a platform where they can express their darkest most disgusting thoughts & with no concequences. I have talked about haters, it is important to know what is going on is this fandom but I don't believe in giving hateful anons a voice. If you don't publish their messages but just block them, their messages will remain in your inbox or they will just disappear if you erase them. Nobody has to see what those ppl sent you, and if these anons frustrate you or hurt you with their words, believe me those hateful anons will be even more frustrated for not finding a plateform, for being muted. In twitter we can report the comments. In tumblr we can make sure THEY NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY. It's the only real power we have. As for ppl who think they have a moral obligation to talk to them, change their minds. YOU DON'T. They won't change their minds, they just want to leave a nasty comment about your bias or your ship or your favorite group & watch you & ppl who follow your blogs get bothered over their message. DON'T GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO THAT. As for ppl who claim that they can have fun debating with haters, we all know you are helping THEM spread their toxicity more than they are helping YOU have fun.
