They sit in the common room, a little too bored during winter break, arguing over just how achievable extreme sports are.
“I’m not sure what the big deal is, it’s just a mountain,” Shoto says.
Katsuki laughs loudly, rocking his chair back. “Half and Half, no fucking way your prissy ass could climb Mount Everest . No way you could climb the tallest mountain. You’d definitely die. About,” Katsuki says, holding his hand out flat, “half-way up maybe?”
“Bakugo,” Shoto repeats, “it's just a mountain.”
“You’d die, even with your quirk. You’d die as soon as they didn’t have fucking toilet seat warmers.”
“I bet,” Shoto says, something alive shining in his eyes, a prove-me-wrong, “I bet you can’t do it. You can’t climb Mount Everest.”
