DANGANRONPA 2 SPOILERS AND MY THOUGHTS FOR DANGANRONPA 2x2!!

I know how everyone keeps saying they know Kazuichi’s not living till the end of 2x2 (I highly doubt any of the survivors will besides maybe Hajime if there isn’t a protag switch) and while he screams victim and I could 110% see that getting played out in the game, I can’t help but have a little hope he’ll be a culprit.

I originally thought he was the chapter 4 culprit because of these lines:

And I think if they ran with the concept that at Kazuichi’s core he has major trust issues (to a point where if you gain all of his hope fragments he admits he hasn’t fully trusted anyone since middle school and that only at the end of the killing game he could admit that “What I really hated all along wasn’t being betrayed. I hated myself for being too weak to believe in others”.) that I can say without a doubt that he has culprit potential.

Also he has motion sickness?? Which would make his execution really interesting given it’s also stated in his free time events that he doesn’t ride the vehicles he makes because they make him sick and that his bike can go 585 MPH!!! Also the fact that he has a dream of building a rocket ship reminds me too much of Kaito for comfort…

Idk who the killers and culprits would be for my 2x2 predictions but I’m on my knees begging for:

(Spoilers Ahead⚠️⚠️⚠️)

- Nekomaru, Mikan, Peko and Mahiru surviving alongside Hajime cuz I js don’t see Haji dying

- a sacrifice situation again but Sonia takes Nekomaru’s place OR kills Gundham

- Kazuichi is one of the first to die, not bc I want him to but to save that survivor spot for smb else sorry Kaz

- can we please get some serious grieving from Nekomaru pls. Kill Akane pls. I hate to say it but I wanna see it

- it’d be funny if Fuyuhiko kills Mahiru instead (Ik that doesn’t make sense shush) and peko gets injured from his execution. I used to dislike Mahiru but she’s cool beans I suppose

- yasuhiro, hina and toko show up somehow cuz Ik they asses not coming in like Makoto, Kyoko and byakuya did

- I was gonna say Imposter could be someone else but they seem to be the same during the demo, but you never know w Danganronpa demos

I pray for Fuyuhiko to be a victim, I could see that Fuyuhiko and Peko are split up somewhere but then it ends up Fuyuhiko dying as a victim. Peko has a whole monologue and she bargains, she feels she failed her duty as a 'tool', but then she realizes, maybe being a tool wasn't what Fuyuhiko wanted. She gradually develops herself and Peko survives.

So yeah that's my 2x2 prediction, I think it's a little inaccurate but lemme know what everyone thinks!

wait. what if the difference in Slayhem in 2x2 is that fuyuhiko dies during peko pekoyamas execution and that peko actually does survive!?? Like serious thought here, wouldn't that like drastically change the story!!!!!!!!!!! Forcing the character completely obsessed with another to be without!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in 2x2 chiaki is either going to be the twist protagonist or straight up first dead. like. there is nooooo way theyre going to let chiaki live past chapter 3 as she is. like there is a Reason shes barely appeared in any promotional material compared to Nagito or Hajime.

The intended playerbase of 2x2 are veterans who already know the entire killing game is a virtual world. Us not knowing chiaki is an ai/anything about the NWP is important to SDR2, and now that we already know the truth of SDR2/The Neo World Program, she cant just go back to her original support character role in 2x2 cause she loses her initial impact.

her dying immediately would be the traditional chapter 1 "nobody is safe" shocker victim cause veteran players would not have expected her to die immediately with how important she is, and given her role as support/nagito foil/mediator of the class her dying would fuck with the class bad overall, and depending on if she's already revealed as the traitor effectively gets rid of that from the story

Her being the protagonist would also be a shocking twist that fits the intended audience of 2x2 being veteran players as she, being the traitor and an ai, would also likely know about the major SDR2 Twists (impostor, peko and fuyu, NWP) from the start too, so stuff related to the remnants, the Neo World Program, Izuru, and Chiaki would be easier to explore.
