March 2, 2022. On this ocean-sprayed chilly morning I quickly hopped onto the last bit of my church's online midweek gathering... with my steaming coffee mug in hand and a feeling of anxiety steeping in my joints... I had gotten the times wrong. Unsure in one moment, I was comforted in the next...
I found myself blessed by a God-timed blessing.
As I listened, my heart felt soothed and the anxiety dissipated... the words that were shared in that moment felt designed for my heart's hope... as they closed out in prayer I drew in a breath as they were exactly the ones my heart couldn't have even hoped to be ministered...
... the Holy Spirit can make sense of the heart's utterances and so weaves a tapestry of action and word to mend us and make things right in ways that are beyond what we can ask, think, or imagine... even when our hearts are confused or heavy-laden with grief or exhaustion, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us... Thank You Lord that this is part of my testimony... for You've rescued me from hopeless places and so have brought me from death to Life. In Christ Jesus I am thankful... thank You Lord, my God and my Shepherd. Where You Go... I'll follow.
