watched Sonic X episodes 35 and 36 today woo, because I didn’t watch 35 yesterday oops. Both are fine. They cover the entire Prison Island raid and Team Sonic taking the rocket up to the arc respectively. Pretty strait-laced and without loads of fluff, though we still have to see Chris’ teacher and Scarlet Garcia try interview a survivor from the Project Shadow incident which was a bit cringe. Also the former episode has so many shitty early 2000s digital animation explosions that are ugly as fuck lol. Also I forgot about this but they actually have Chris get caught up in Shadow’s rescue of Rouge in the Prison Island explosion - which like. I don’t mind that much really - at the end of the day he’s a main character in X so he’s gonna have to be inserted into game scenes somehow. It’s when he downright steals moments from other characters where I start getting a bit pissed off. But here, just being added into a scene without really having to take anything away from it or any other character? It’s not bad. Latter episode also has Sonic and Knuckles fighting together which I always appreciate.
