I cannot believe it’s been a year. This blog has helped me in so many ways and I’ve met so many cool people on it. Can’t wait for round two....I already know it’s going to be better :)

when I wake up missing you I pour too much Bailey's in the coffee mug we picked out together

   the coffee mug you wanted    because of the way the rounded bottom    sat in your hands

   making you feel more full

      the coffee mug I wanted       because of the way the handle       curled around my pinky

      making me feel less alone

it's seven:thirty and I'm watching the sun rise wondering if it looks the same where you are

if the pinks are fading into purples into blues the way I did

if the horizon is an eye opening or closing

The last few days haven't been easy. I will be okay. I've got a lot to be thankful for and I need to remember that things will turn around. Please, self, just keep breathing. Keep pushing. Keep going.
