I forgot to make a post about the Niall Stockholm gig! I went there with the lovely @twoghostshalo and I thought we would be the only ones wearing rainbows, but I saw at least one person wearing a rainbow flag as a cape! No one came to talk to us, but the atmosphere was lovely and I felt good and welcomed. When Niall said while introducing his song ‘Flicker’ that he wants people to interpret is as they want, it warmed my heart. Shout out to artists who encourage people to make songs their own and at the same time make queer people feel like we have the right to interpret songs to describe our lives and experiences  ♥ ♥

I ran. Like I always do. But this time I wasn’t running away. You’ve been running through my mind. And not the way when we were in love. The kind of running you do through the lies, wondering if any of it was real at all. The day you left I felt my heart collapse. Forgot how to beat. The way you said my name, the way it sounds now, Is like razor blades slicing through me. So I ran.

I made it to the corner. A place we had kissed, my legs felt weak. I kept running. I made it to the path we used talk on. My chest felt tight. I kept running. Through the path and down the street my body’s hurting but not like you did to me. I made it to the fountain where we splashed each other like kids. The water could never be as cold as you I kept running. I made it to the road we would speed down. Where my heart used to race. Now it’s just because of my running pace. I kept running. I made it home. My mind wasnt running. Everything was numbing. And that’s when I realized. I’ll run you out of every place we’ve ever been
