okay so now I'm picking up vibes that like. maybe the lord of the island or w/e is working with the whole evil wizard delgal shit to keep the island profitable and sustain the dungeon. because it wasn't That hard to kill the dragon and it wasn't That hard to get to the bottom so like, adventurers can do it and eventually they'd just wipe the dungeon and it would be pointless. because there's this whole thing about balancing the ecosystem and how humans interact with that and the island has become entirely financially dependent on the dungeon so. it makes sense that the lord would want to keep the dungeon Challenging and Interesting to keep people invested in it so he can keep making money.
