30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 14

Day Fourteen: Tell us your Saturn sign and three things that you think hold you back from your dreams.

I have Saturn in Aquarius in the 9th house.  It is trine Venus and my ascendant (loosely).  Three things that hold me back from pursuing my dreams are fears that I’m not good enough, or inferior, fear of being in the spotlight/ the center of attention, and honestly, probably falling in love and devoting myself to my SO and our family (but that’s why I’m single. It needs to be the perfect person).

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 22

Day Twenty-Two: Can you think of one person for each sign? Tell us how they relate to you (are they a friend, your aunt, your cousin?)

Again!

Ugh, fine...

Aries- I know many Aries as acquaintances, but not closer.  They are the too cool friend of a friend

Taurus- Again, don’t know many personally but I admire them from afar.  They are the crush.

Gemini- Mom, sister, and many other family members are Gemini.  My family definitely has heavy Gemini and air qualities in abundance. 

Cancer- The Frenemy.  In college I got really close to 4 Cancer girls. Currently, I don’t communicate with any of them. 

Leo- The Ex. Although not all of my ex’s were Leos, half of them were (2/4).  Attracted to them in a very instinctual way, but, ugh! so insufferable. 

Virgo- Friend, Aunt, teacher, every filler role you can think of... (Virgos make the word go round).

Libra- My dad, and many friendly acquaintances. 

Scorpio- ME! And other awesome people like me :P (tend to be friends)

Sagittarius- Friends/ roommate.  These are people I usually (secretly) look up to.

Capricorn- Don’t know many amongst my peers, but to me they are usually the competent leaders or the professional slackers.

Aquarius- Again, don’t know many personally, but they fulfill the friend and mentor role.

Pisces-BFFEEEEE... (Best Friends For Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever...)

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 5

Day Five: Tell us some struggles you have had to face because of your chart. Let’s say two struggles.

One of the most difficult placements in my chart is a tight triple conjunction of Sun, Pluto, and Mars in Scorpio. While this is also my favorite aspects in my chart, it is also extremely difficult as my personality, drive, and character were controversial and rejected often growing up. I seem to be misinterpreted and misunderstood, and people find me intimidating and judge me before they get to know me.  

The second placement that gives me trouble is my Aquarius moon which is conjunct my Midheaven from the 9th. It also is loosely square my triple conjunction in Scorpio and loosely opposite Chiron in Leo.  Again, while there are some things I love about this placement, it has lead to a difficult relationship with my mother, and my private and emotional life has a tendency to be put on display (unwillingly) for everyone to see.

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 13

Day Thirteen: Tell us your Jupiter sign and three morals that you hold to a high standard.

My Jupiter sign is in Virgo in the 4th house.  It forms a T-Square between my gemini ascendant and sag mercury.  It is also trine Uranus (tightly) and Neptune. Three morals or values I hold in high standard are 1) Nothing great is ever easy. If you want to achieve something great, it takes hard work, attention to detail, perseverance, and then a little luck . 2) treat people who provide service to you with respect. 3) things not working out the way you want can be what’s best for you.

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 21

Woo! Last one for today! I’ll never miss a day again!...

Day Twenty-One: Tell us your favorite memory with each sign.

Wat...

This is question is ridiculously too much work! All 12!  Ok, get ready, I’m gonna do this rapid fire.  Most of these will be from my students and for everyone it will represent their SUN sign. 

Aries- We were doing a science activity with a visiting instructor. The instructor gets the kids attention by saying “Stop! and make a scary face!...just make a face, no noise. Stop!” This Aries girl just screams at the top of her lungs “IIIII HAAAAATE  YOOOOOOOUUU!!!!” :)

Taurus- A cute Taurus girl who showed up to ‘dress up as your favorite book character’ day in her pajamas and we all thought she had misunderstood and thought it was a pajama day.  Her favorite character was from the Shel Silverstien poem where the little girl doesn’t want to go to school :P

Gemini- One little Gemini girl would always just *gasp and add their commentary to everything (as all gems do).  It’s usually along the lines of *gasp* “I LOVE x”, where x is any term that pops up in the story.  One of my favs: *gasp* “I love hair salons”..

Cancer- One little Cancer girl is reading a book about the moon, and she’s in the corner squealing, “Isn’t it just so beautiful!”

Leo- Lovely Leos. One Leo boy who I had worked with a lot the previous year, stopped to say high to me in the hall.  He said he missed having me as a teacher, and I was like “I miss you too, but isn’t your new teacher wonderful!” He goes, “she’s not as wonderful as you”. :-P She totally was, he was just kissing up to me XP.

Virgo-  It’s hard to choose just one Virgo. Virgos being virgos, you know what I mean.  I guess there was this one Virgo boy who always kept us on schedule. Would raise his hand right when the clocks hand turned to be like “we have gym now”

Libra- One Libra girl would always bring in random stuff to share with the class, like some shells she found on the beach, a bracelet she made, some yarn from her grandma’s house, you get the picture.

Scorpio- Our class was playing a game of graveyard (you know where you have to be completely still and someone goes around making faces to try to make them move and our Scorpio girl was just DEAD! Nothing would make her flinch! I was like, she’s a Scorpio, she’s experienced.

Sagittarius- One fiery Sag girl who I love got scared while I was reading The Witches out loud (totally understandable, scary story) and she was convinced she was a witch and was from a family of witches.  No idea why, she didn’t meet any of the books qualifications, but you can’t convince a Sag.

Capricorn- A Capricorn girl that always was in everyone’s business, but not very discrete about it.  I always had to tell her to mind her own business.

Aquarius- Ah! Aquarius is the hardest, because you don’t meet too many.  I guess there was this one Aquarius boy who was just like always a total frat boy, lying down in front when taking group pictures, lol.

Pisces- Me and my BFF are texting, making plans for when I’m visiting.  We are constantly misunderstanding each other, and she’s like “what are you saying?” and “I’m like, I don’t know, never mind”, then she would immediately say what I was thinking.  I told her I loved her my Pisces BFF, she didn’t get that either.

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 10

Day Ten: Tell us your Mercury sign and three facts about either how you communicate with others or how you learn.

I have Mercury in Sagittarius in the 7th house (directly opposite my Gemini Ascendant) and 1) I’ve always been a very abstract and intuitive learner. I always had to understand the larger picture before being able to begin working on and understanding the smaller details; I'm not great at mapping my thought processes or explaining how I got to my conclusions. 2) I like to communicate my ideas and thoughts to others to get their ideas, but this doesn’t mean it’s a fully formed idea or that I’ll take the advice.  I like to compile information on my ideas from many different sources, wherever/whenever I can, so if  I’m telling someone my idea and asking them about it, I’m asking to get a greater perspective on it, to see where it is weak and how it can be adjusted 3) I can be quite honest, blunt, and possibly harsh (at maybe not the best times), but I can also be dreamy, friendly, and optimistic.

30 Day Astrology Challenge: Day 25

Day Twenty-Five: Tell us one over-communicated stereotype about your sun sign.

I am a Scorpio Sun, and I think the most over-communicated/incorrect stereotype of my Sun sign is that we are overly intense, toxic, attention seekers; very extroverted and explicit with their feelings.  While I can’t deny that we aren’t creepy, weird, taboo, and intense, and I’m sure some of you have your stories; Scorpio is a feminine, or yin, sign meaning it is introverted and more reserved, controlled.  While I can be quite hot headed, with my Sun conjunct Mars and Pluto in Scorpio, I keep it all internally and can be quite controlled with what I let out.  And what I do let out can be (purposely) misleading and ambiguous.  Just saying, once you think you’ve pinned us, you discover something new!
