In the mood to smoke, lay up, and watch cartoons
Its now 317am. My work is about 50% done. But I'm 5000% done with it. *flips table*
X: Empty company
Empty company.. I always feel like I'm hanging out with empty company.
Today I went to go watch the midnight premiere of The Amazing Spiderman. The movie was exceptionally good, I'd definitely rewatch it. However the company I went with was just... Boring isn't really the word, but empty is. I went with 6 more people one of which was my brother and the other was his girlfriend so of course my brother wouldn't have been a great movie partner to begin with. The others consisted of my brother's high school buddies. Although I went along with them, I felt more like I went by myself. I would have rather actually gone by myself than go with a bunch of people and feel alone. This isn't even the only instance when I feel like this. I feel like I hang out with an empty crowd all the time. You know, I don't even know if I'm using the correct term. Empty. I can be with so many people, go to a party, hang out at the mall, have a gathering with old acquaintances, yet at the end of the day I just don't feel right. Yes I did satisfy my hunger of wanting to go out, but I still feel empty. It sounds contradicting reading it, only I know how it really feels though. Okay that sounds sort of arrogant of me because maybe there is someone that I know that feels exactly like me. I'm beginning to think that I truly get enjoyment from just being alone. I know I say that a lot, but I didn't wholeheartedly mean it. Now, I do. It's not that I feel empty. It's just that I feel like the people I hang out with are just bodies to hang out with, with no real... Real... Real intention or position in my life. They neither give me everlasting happiness or really benefit me. It's all temporary, so why bother making people a set seat in my life? They're just people.
