iPad 2 Gains Improved Battery Life with the new 32nm Processor
While everyone have their eyes set for The New iPad, there is good news for people who can still afford an iPad 2 only. Apple has upgraded its iPad 2 with an updated 32nm A5 processor. iPad 2 is not the only one getting this update. Apple TV has also been upgraded with the same chip.
The prior chip that iPad 2 carried was a 45nm A5 chip. The new chip is 42% smaller in size compared to its EX. But people, there is no size change! So don't be too dumb thinking about that. Infact, the major improvement you will see is in video (increased by 18%), gaming graphics (increased by 29%) and web browsing (increased by 15.8%).
