Dreamed of traveling to a city by the sea. I lean my head out the open window of the car and the door opens. I strain to close it. I can see a huge ocean of trees to my right. 

The city is made of stone. There’s a lot of people, tourists or residents. I walk along an alleyway to find a bathroom but they’re all run down and overgrown. I lose track of my companion and become lost. I keep checking my phone and I can see them active but I can’t message them or talk to them. There are trellises of flowers blooming everywhere. 

I wander the streets trying to find my way back to the car but just keep getting more and more lost. Eventually I find myself in a huge stone castle. Inside are two of my coworkers. They’re sitting on a large stone stairway. In front of them is a huge window that looks out into the ocean. It’s very beautiful and the waters seem to change every time I look at them. Becoming rainbowy, multi colored.

I’m stunned by the beauty and keep taking pictures of it. My coworker M is putting fruit and cheeses into hand made tortillas. The food is spread out on a cloth on the stairs. She offers me one and at first I refuse, but she makes it anyway with goat cheese, peaches and other fruits and I accept it. It’s good.

We sit on the stairs and talk. Someone has written something in red ink on the stair I’m sitting on and it has an arrow pointing at me. It’s written sideways and I have trouble reading it. It says something comforting but I can’t remember it.

My coworker A goes and sits in a huge red chair by the window. The light changes and becomes flicker-y and shifting like it’s filtering through trees. The ocean is blue-green. I’m taking pictures of her. She and M start singing and invite me to sing but I’m looking through a stack of magazines that are piled up and refuse. M then says; “Wanna hear my favorite song?” and starts singing Booty Bounce.
