Saix

The Demon Adjutant Dancing in the Moon 

"I thought...you outgrew the marks under your eyes." 

Organization XIII: No. 7 

Weapon: Claymore 

Element: Moon 

A blue-haired man with a X scratched in his forehead.

He entered Organization XIII and became closely associated with Xemnas in order to gain his trust.  He hardly displays any emotion, pursues becoming stronger, and also knows how to damage a heart.

However, his real goal in joining the Organization was to save a girl that was experimented on (III). 

Isa (time as human) 

The calm and collected boy scheming to infiltrate the castle 

An ordinary boy who lives in Radiant Garden.

In contrast to his easily-excitable friend Lea, Isa is mature with a calm and collected personality.  He chides Lea, who tries to befriend everyone he meets. 

Appearances: BbS, Re:coded

"Lea, we don't have time for this." 

 Along the way to sneak into the castle with his best friend Lea, he meets Ventus.  Lea and Ventus become good friends, but Isa leaves without introducing himself.  

"Everything is going according to plan..."

Xemnas and his adjutant Saix, as well as the researcher Vexen, met behind closed doors to add another member to the Organization: a Replica named Xion.

”We were worried about you."

In order to ensure Heartless fell, Saix checked in on Sora.  As he heartlessly ridiculed Sora, he explained how he knew how to damage hearts. 

"I'm relieved to hear that."

Saix becomes a member of the Real Organization XIII.  In order to complete the Replica Project to create perfect human vessels, he recruits Vexen.

"The marks under your eyes.  They're gone."

The day before the final battle, Saix sits next to Axel in Twilight Town, eating ice cream while talking.  As if he hadn't changed from the best friend he was long ago, he left with a smile.

"Just as we had planned."

Before Saix recruited Vexen, Saix, Master Xehanort, and Xigbar held a meeting.  Saix presented himself as the faithful adjutant from before. 

Saix's Record

Bbs: Infiltrated Ansem the Wise's castle with Lea, and became friends with a girl who was being experimented on (Isa) 

Days: After he and Lea became apprentices under Ansem the Wise, they turned into Nobodies, and became a part of Organization XIII.

Days: Searched for his friend alongside Axel in secret, but their plan came to a standstill.

II FM: By Xemnas's order, Saix severely injured Axel, who had betrayed them.

II: Saix attempted to erase Sora, but was annihilated.

3D: Resurrected as human in Radiant Garden, but went missing.

Re:coded: Was brought into the Real Organization XIII by Braig and the others.

III: While hiding it from the Organization, Saix had Vexen create Replicas to hand over to Ienzo and the others.

III: Saix talked about how he taught the crybaby Axel (Lea) the upside-down tear charm.

III: At the final battle, he and Axel exchanged farewells with "see you."

III: After becoming human again, he spends time with Lea, Xion, and the others.

Axel (Lea) 

The flurry of dancing flames that changes on a whim 

Also, Roxas's friend who became a new Keyblade wielder 

Organization XIII: No. 8 

Weapon: Chakrams (while in Organization XIII) 

Keyblade (since III) 

Element: Fire 

CoM: Organization XIII's No.8, who wields fire and chakrams.  He has a head of red hair, marks under his eyes, and a mouth that asks "Got it memorized?"  He gives Sora hints, prepares Namine, and sticks out with his bizarre actions.

KHII: Axel acted elusively, with his own goals in mind.  He ran away from The Organization because he wanted to meet Roxas.

Days: Conspired with Saix, working towards a certain goal.  However, he became friends with Roxas and Xion, and seemed to develop feelings.  They found camaraderie over their missions. 

Bbs: Lived in Radiant Garden as a boy.  Had a habit of picking up friends easily, which his friend Isa (Saix) teased him for.  When he called out to Ventus, who was alone at the time, they became friends.

3D: Returned as a human, and despite wearing the black coat, worked alongside Sora, The King, and others.  He unexpectedly manifested a Keyblade in one hand, making him a wielder.  He began training.

KHIII: Alongside Kairi, he trained as a Keyblade wielder in the Secret Forest.  He was able to reunite with Roxas, Xion, and Isa, but is still worried about the black-haired girl he met as a boy.

Flame Liberator 

The keyblade that Lea summoned.  He easily became a keyblade wielder, surprising many.  Its design is reminiscent of Eternal Flames, the weapon Axel used before.

Record of Axel’s Journey 

“The name’s Lea.  Got it memorized?” 

Lea, while walking with Isa, met Ventus and became friends.  When Isa criticized Lea, Lea said that he wanted to live on in the memories of others.

After becoming an apprentice of Ansem the Wise, he soon became a Nobody named Axel and joined Organization XIII. 

“That’s correct.  You passed, Sora.”

After he approved of Sora’s power at Castle Oblivion, he warned Sora that he might not be himself anymore if his sleeping memories are awakened.

Axel was a spy at Castle Oblivion.  He got close to Marluxia and Larxene to obtain information on their insurrection plot.

“The icing on the cake.”

After missions, Roxas, Xion, and Axel would eat ice cream by the sunset and talk.  With the three of them sharing the twilight sky, they became close friends.

“That’s not true.  I would.”

Axel tried to stop Roxas, who had left The Organization, but his words didn’t reach him.  When Roxas said no one would miss him if he were erased, Axel whispered to himself.

“Let’s meet again, in the next life.”

Axel was ordered to persuade Roxas, now without memories from before, to return to The Organization.  After Roxas’s memories returned, he promised to someday reunite with him.

Axel acted alone by kidnapping Kairi, but she escaped when he was intercepted by Saix.

“He...was the only one I liked.”

Axel fought alongside Sora’s group, but ended up putting his whole being into an attack that eliminated Dusks.  He apologized to Sora about Kairi, and said that Sora reminded him of Roxas while fading away.

Axel reunites with Roxas in his mind.  After they exchange farewells with “See you,” they fade away.

“No...I’ll find them myself.”

In the same place they became Nobodies, Aeleus and the others come back as human.  Lea sets off in search of those who didn’t reappear.

“Fine.  Let’s jump right in.”

Lea, who had just saved King Mickey and his friends, visits Master Yen Sid.  There, he suggests that he become a keyblade wielder to defeat Xehanort.

When the group catches up with Master Xehanort, Lea saves the comatose Sora.

“No, not Lea.  Call me Axel.”

In the middle of training with Kairi, Lea says “sorry” to Kairi, who says he doesn’t need to apologize.  Lea tells her to start calling him Axel.

“I’m even dragging you home!”

Axel thinks about Roxas at their usual spot, but Saix suddenly appears.  Axel says that, in order to achieve his goal of bringing his friends back, he’ll clobber Saix.

“It’s unfortunate, but this is the root of our bond.” 

When the trio attacks Xemnas, the Recusant’s Sigil appears on them.  Even though the sigil would disappear when Xemnas was erased, the trio still had a precious bond.

“Where are Sora and Kairi?”

After the battle had ended,  Axel was worried about why Sora and Kairi were missing.  After Riku, smiling, said that they would be fine if they were together, Axel smiled too.

Axel, Roxas, Xion, Isa, and others meet at their usual spot and watch the sunset.
