Okay, so this is going to take a bit of explaining.
I was doing some research for another project when I came across a book from 1921 that purported to have classified all the dramatic situations that can occur in stories. Supposedly there were 36 of these split into sub-types. I think in the 100 years since there a few more have been found, but that's beside the point.
The point was I looked at this list of situations and immediately went "Holy cow, this is a great prompt list."
Look, when inspiration strikes after you've written absolutely nothing for three months, you run with it.
The first situation was Fugitives Imploring the Powerful for Help Against Their Enemies. 500 words later, here is the result.
