Early Christmas in Williamsburg. NYC marathon edition @nbrunning shoes from Santa arrived just in time for breaking in for November’s first ever marathon. A bag of chicharon from the friends at the fave nabe restaurant which I learn is kulit Babi in Indonesian and is quite yum with a bowl of miso soup like crackers in a bowl of chowder. And sometimes on a Friday you take the G train down to Smith St., take a snap of the best subway station view of manhattan, head down to a factory, explore a bit and chat, sign some papers and a check and next thing you know you’re now part owner of a local company that you’ve supported in the lower east side and has expanded into BRKLYN. Museum quality frames and stretchers and artist swoon is a neighbor. So cool. And a huge opportunity to get myself a bit more involved in the world of art and the business of it.
