Undefined Rage || Day 28

Allow the rage to build like a fire. Allow the emotions to consume and tackle, arrest and bring down your soul.

Then let it go.

Let it pass like the waves upon the shore, like the wind through the trees and the sun as it sets.

Let it be.

Let nothing nor nobody belittle all that you have come to be. In all that you have achieved through all that you have struggled. Do not doubt your ability to create and rise. Not even for a second.

Shimmer Upon the Horizon || Day 27

Had they not seen her soul? The bruises that dotted her skin and the pills beside her bed? The darkness beyond the light of her eyes? Had they ever really seen her?

She had known no emotion worse than that which surrounded her now. Buried beneath a cloud that had summoned her thoughts, steering them in new directions to territories she has never dared to believe existed. 

No guide was in sight. No friend to hand. Not a soul that would hear her out. It was her and only her.

And there in the darkness did she discover the light that grew like a vine, caressing her, tormenting her at times, but ultimately bringing her to a resting place where she could feel safe. A new flicker of motivation that she had lost. A depth to life she had forgotten. A shimmer in the horizon; far yet attainable.

Treasure || Day 26

Beyond the rubble of our woes and sorrows will we unearth the greatest treasure. A might so strong that no one dare to shatter it, a longing that revives the motivation and a depth that even the biggest of calamities cannot shake.

For, I promise, there will be days where we lose the power to stand, the ability to comprehend, a loss of love, laughter and feeling. There will be moments when our speech will become a slur of words as they pour out unguarded, unwarranted and unknown.

There will be bouts of loneliness, aches of regret and a hope to change force in our ways. When pattern will drown our creativity, when even the closest of souls cannot remedy the pain.

But do not forget, like the sand piled high in the depths of the ocean, beneath all that has been, is a jewel yet to discovered. A light so precious, so delicate, so renowned. For once you have yourself - you need nothing else.

Aptitude of Waves || Day 25

Brazen as they cast out and bury the worst of what the world has known. Compelling fragments, of what no longer remains to be seen, unto the dispirited depths. Laid to rest. Lost and forgotten.

Once cast away do these elements reconvene to establish another purpose. Hidden are their skills as they learn the art of patience, embracing the sunlight as it tears beneath the surface, allowing them all they need to fulfil the task at hand.

Seemingly the last breath had been exhaled, yet surfacing now are trinkets of splendour one could have never envisioned. Delicate to the touch, so smooth, crystal white. Viscosity at its finest, a liquor of noble stance. Treasures spawned from dust.

What once laid as a calamity was cloaked and nourished. Allowed the time to constitute a new form. A new way. An untrained spirit, kindled only from the will to resurface.

Rooted Unstable || Day 24

Like the trees rooted, is she strong enough to bear the grace and torment of the winds and the rain as they shatter her dreams and scatter the elements she once held so dear. And there does she stay. There does she rebirth growth. Hour by hour does she muster the strength to repair the damage done. She stays rooted for the world to see, for beyond things that they are aware, lie the remnants of a soul once draped in carnage.

She loses herself like the seasons tarnish the leaves. She appeals and confronts those that approach in the many shades of her emotions. She warns, but they hear not. She tries to explain, yet their understanding is selective. She is adorned in the jewels of the world, surrounded by those from near and far - yet hollow in all she feels.

Here I Remain || Day 21

When you find yourself in a place of comfort, compassion, security – it becomes delicate; special almost – and one must consider the next moves with care.

I have awoken and slept to your voice for more days than I can count. I have watched your eyes; tired and red, as you sit in my company for more hours than I can thank you for.

I have envisioned the future and contemplated our lives. I stand by your side with a will to compromise and sacrifice; be your safety net when you fall and to guide you as you guide me.

I battled myself as I fell, but now I have fallen and in my ability to dictate my life - in your arms do I want to be and in your company do I wish to remain. 

You are not what I perceived myself to want, but you are giving me everything that I need. 

Do as you must, make me yours.

Consume & Let Go || Day 20

Inhale once, consume and let the vapours fill your lungs until you can breathe no more. Suffocate, drown, emerge and fight. Learn who and how you are, how you survive and of how you will always be your own saviour.

And when you’ve been through the cycle once, do it again and again and again. There is nothing like repetition to truly ground your morals and new logic of life. There is no limit to the pain you must endure before you find love. And there is an eternity of mishaps just waiting to occur.

Burden yourself with all the downs of life; because then and only then, shall you learn to let go. Learn to find peace within yourself after all that you have had to suffer.

Stranger Friend || Day 19

Sometimes it takes one person, a few words, a new perspective to set you back on track. For you to become the person you once were. The person you have been battling to find all these months. Perhaps it was only their voice and their presence that you ever needed. Some people are miracles in their own right.

I cannot tell you just how much all that you do means to me. In the technicalities of time differences, have I found a friend who means more than I shall ever let you know.

Your smile, your exuberance and your outlook are soothing a void I thought I would never fill. So may you stay, may we learn about one another and may we entail a journey of companionship that only lifts us higher in everything we wish to achieve.

To a stranger come friend; and to all that is yet to come for us!
