The step forwarding of Jammu & Kashmir issue of second stage
Both house of parliament of India have passed the bill ‘ Jammu & Kashmir reorganisation bill , 2019’ in consecutive two days 5,6th august 2019 . After the independence of India if it will be considered some of the most important historical events eternally ,this bill and bifurcation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territory bill find as proper place. Article 370 of Indian constitution used to provide special status to the state of Jammu &Kashmir . not any other state in independent India have such privilege and special status. In general term Article 370 provide greater autonomy to the state of Jammu & Kashmir like . without consideration of state legislative Indian parliament cannot make any change in the demography and geography of India . That means without affirmation of the people of Jammu &Kashmir in general and Muslims in particular there would be no change in demography as well as geography of Jammu &Kashmir.
The query arouse here why Article 370 in Constitution had been indented ? why our forefathers were ready to provide the special status to Jammu &Kashmir ? for getting answer to this query we have to look at the situation of the partition .
Partition was based on ‘ Two nation theory ‘ propagate that Hinduism and Islam are not two mere religion but nation . To counter this ‘Two nation theory ‘ Indian leader of that time not only embrace the secularism as the basic structure of constitution but also had provided special status to only Muslim majority state namely Jammu & Kashmir .
At that time the leadership of our country thought , that a Muslim majority state and that would be Muslim majority state in future, associated with India peacefully would be befitting reply of the falsehood of ‘ Two nation theory ‘.
