𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 - Y/N insists on wearing her festive Christmas headband, but it keeps poking Tom in the eye. A playful struggle ensues, full of banter and magic, until Y/N triumphs and magically puts the headband on Tom.
𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 -more bcus duhh.
The prefect dorm was quiet, the flickering fire casting warm shadows across the walls.
Tom and Y/N were curled up together on the bed, her head resting against his chest, his arm wrapped snugly around her.
Christmas music drifted softly from a tiny enchanted speaker in the corner, adding to the cozy atmosphere.
Y/N was humming along, adjusting her festive headband with little reindeer ears, completely oblivious that one of the ears had nudged Tom squarely in the eye.
“Ow! Take that off,” Tom snapped, wincing and rubbing his eye.
“No,” Y/N said, grinning mischievously, “don’t be a Grinch, love.”
He glared down at her. “I said take it off.”
“I said no,” she countered, brushing her fingers along his chest and leaning closer, daring him to do something.
Tom huffed, lunging to grab the headband.
A playful struggle ensued her fingers clamped onto it, his hand trying to wrest it away, neither willing to give in.
Finally, Y/N’s magic won out.
With a flick of her wand and a smirk, the headband magically perched itself atop Tom’s head.
He froze, staring at the reflection in the small mirror across the room, one eyebrow raised. “I… I look ridiculous.”
“Then you hate Christmas,” Y/N teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“That… doesn’t make any sense, love,” he said, the corners of his mouth twitching despite himself. “How could I—never mind.”
Before he could continue, she leaned up and pressed a quick kiss to his lips just enough for him to blink in surprise.
One of the ears brushed her eye.
“See what I mean, love?” he smirked, nudging her gently.
Y/N just stroked the reindeer ears, grinning. “You suit it. It’s perfect on you.”
“Don’t joke,” he muttered, though his tone was far from serious.
“I’m not joking—you’re adorable,” she said, her laughter warm and infectious.
He sighed and removed the headband, tossing it back toward her.
He quirked an eyebrow, deadpan. “I’d rather die than get caught wearing it.”
Y/N laughed, nudging him with her knee. “Well then, put it back where it belongs, love.”
Tom gave her a long, resigned look—the kind that said you are impossible and I’m obsessed with you anyway.
With a soft sigh, he lifted the headband off his own head and placed it gently onto hers, fingertips lingering as he adjusted it just right.
“There,” he murmured, voice warm, almost fond despite himself.
Y/N beamed, and Tom, of course, pretended he wasn’t smiling back.
He kissed her cheek, smirking. “Happy now, Christmas girl?”
“Completely,” she whispered.
Y/N leaned into him, radiant. “Merry Christmas, my grumpy love.”
Tom smirked, pretending to be annoyed. “I’m not grumpy. I just enforce decorum.”
In honor of next weeks episode (though I'm still boycotting Toei for their Egghead destruction) I dug out my meme I made from when the manga chapter for that episode came out.
Basically the LuNatics tried to lie a cape into existence by reaching so far they were touching the sky with that cover art and convinced themselves completely that it was a subtle hint. Only for Oda to have her bluntly wear Sanji's cape in Elbaph, lmao.
