2. Cooking headcanon

It’s actually one of my fave hcs that Sombra is a great cook! I think she worked at the bakery some and so she definitely bakes the best, but she also just likes cooking and good food in general. She doesn’t always have time for it– hence the energy drinks at her dugout in Castillo– but it’s calming for her and she especially likes doing it for girlfriends. Even though Widow is one of those rich people who has far more money than taste, something which Sombra views as both a disappointment and a challenge.

16. Anger headcanon

Ooh this is interesting. I think Sombra doesn’t like showing any kind of emotional vulnerability, and that includes anger. She likes to get under people’s skin, she hates the idea of someone else knowing they got under her skin. She’s also just such an adaptable, resilient person that she sees wallowing in anger as a waste of time. But I think people like M/oira would make her angry, and if M/oira ever started pushing things with Widow or Gabe that might make Sombra lose her cool a little. 

17. Soft spot headcanon

Okay, same thing as for Widow– I know I can’t just say her but I wanna. So this kind of relates to why M/oira makes Sombra angry, but she has a bit of a soft spot for underdogs. I don’t think that’s as pure as some people like to make it out to be, though. Sombra grew up having to fend for herself in a humanitarian catastrophe, and that’s clearly produced an “I gotta get mine” sort of mentality. She probably hurt a lot of people worse off than herself in La Medianoche, and feels little to no guilt about that. But now that she’s rubbing elbows with people who have been powerful and comfortable all their lives and, say, like M/oira, still have goddamn victim complexes? She’s going to really not like them, and be inclined to help out their victims. And her actions around Lúmerico make it clear she doesn’t like corporate types messing with her home.

But also, Widow.

1. Holiday headcanon

Hmm. I feel like this could get real depressing real fast, based on the Christmas comic. I’ll just say that my hc for him in that comic was that he challenged Sombra to a drinking contest, and she utterly thrashed him and bought the bar a round with his wallet. 

3. Sleeping headcanon

Zac you gave me a bunch of ones I just have angsty hcs for... I think he would be a super restless sleeper and an insomniac on bad nights. He would probably be tempted at times to drink or take sleeping pills to help him sleep, though especially once he’s been on his own for longer he fights that urge because he knows it takes him in really dark places. But he hates being tired and he hates sleeping late, and so those nights can get so frustrating for him. 

Something fluffy to make up for it– Genji also had trouble sleeping when he was in Blackwatch, because of his chronic pain. He and Jesse would pull some middle school-ass sleepover stuff that started out with them watching bad TV shows, and ended up with them listening to late 00′s emo while they talked about their feelings.

10. Physical appearance headcanon

Uhh look this might be because I’m not into men but. I don’t think he’s hot. I think I just don’t think hairy dudes are attractive in general? In any case um less personal hc he has a bunch of tie dyed country music t shirts that, due to the pressure from like 4 consecutive partners, he now only wears as sleep shirts.

I haven’t check AO3 in a minute, but I would die for some more Halloween themed AUs– Bride & Comtesse for Spiderbyte, but I also really want all the Enchanted Armor Pharah & Witch Mercy! 

C: What character do you identify with most?

Within Spiderbyte? I don’t super-super identify with either of them, but Widow I get to write being emotionally oblivious, which is relatable, and I also hc her as a Jew of mixed North African and European descent, with a grandmother who migrated to France. Outside of Spiderbyte, I probably put the most of my shit on Ana.
