I've come back from the dead for a very important tip i have very rarely seen. because i love scenes where someone is standing on reflective water. Its edgy and i love it! however a lot of people use this reflection incorrectly so i've made a little informational thing about it
the only things that work as a flipped copy are things on the horizon line. in the image i have used 4 3d models [from the CSP assets] and just have them exactly opposite of each other [which honestly only works if the the character is left/right symmetrical]
but i have found photo references of photographs that show my point
i apologize if it sounds preachy, i just love reflections. and i hope you found this helpful
