Smithereens, my virtual reality blacksmithing game, and Nanosteam’s first official game, is now out!
Furthermore, it’s an entry in Leap Motion’s 3D Jam contest. You ever want to help me, like truly help me? Then when voting opens, vote for Smithereens! And in the meantime, spread the word that the best virtual-reality game ever is now out!
Now while this requires some pretty extensive equipment to play, there WILL be non-VR versions in the future, and the entire game will be completely free.

I’m a little bit aprehensive about this week as I have no real interest in doing 3D modelling.

I feel like after the actual week that no one really took anything away, as it wasn’t long enough for the people who hadn’t ever used 3D to learn anything significant, and it was far too basic for those that had already been using these programs for a while. Unfortunately there wasn’t really any middle ground.
