Nature capsule
At first, i wanted to draw a plant bio-capsule but then I came across water terrariums with fish and plants in them and i was like, i wanna make that but make it ✨Sci-Fi✨ The drawing changed a lot throughout from the initial idea. I also kinda wanted to be lazy and not be so committed to it.
Nearly finished this piece, maybe even tomorrow, shock and horror!

Project Introduction: Modeling a Makeshift Assault Rifle (University Prop Project) Week 1: Blog 1
Welcome to my blog documenting the process of creating my first 3D prop for university — a makeshift assault rifle inspired by the design language of an AK-47.
The goal of this project is to understand and apply proper polygon flow and maintain an efficient, low-to-mid polycount suitable for real-time applications, such as video games. I'll be documenting each step of my workflow from initial planning to final renders.
Tools I'll Be Using:
Blender – For modeling, blocking out, and retopology
Substance Painter – For texturing and material work
Marmoset Toolbag – For baking and final rendering
What I Hope to Learn:
How to build clean, game-ready geometry with proper edge flow
Managing a limited polycount while preserving detail
Efficient UV unwrapping and baking workflows
Creating believable textures and materials
Rendering and presentation techniques
This blog will serve as both my personal log and my submission for university assessment. I’ll be updating it regularly with progress shots, thoughts, and breakdowns of each stage.
Thanks for following along!
