Once part of the estate of the 3rd President of the Singer Sewing Machine company it’s now operating as a charming Victorian B&B. Since becoming a B&B it’s quickly gained notoriety as a haunted location hosting spooky icons like Linda Blair (from The Exorcist) as guests, and having been featured on numerous paranormal TV shows and media helping to add to this seemingly endless reputation. It is also no surprise that Burn Brae Mansion is one of the first places locals think of when asked for paranormal hotspot recommendations. Some of its most terrifying reports include that of a woman in white, disembodied children’s voices, and a mysterious man in late 1900s attire. However the spooky appeal doesn’t stop there! The house even features an Attic of Curiosities packed full of mysterious artifacts (like dolls and children’s toys) leftover from the mansion’s previous tenants.
