 LaIlahaIllAllah or Tawheed is to knowing, believing, proclaiming and obeying the Oneness and Uniqueness of Allah SWT. The Oneness of Allah i.e. Tawheed consists of three parts. (i) Tawheed ar-Rububiyyah (Maintaining the Oneness of Allah's Lordship). (ii) Tawheed al-Asma-Was-Sifat (Maintaining the Oneness of Allah's Names and Attributes). La ilaha: There is no God, IllAlllah: Except Allah. Summarize this sentence: The sentence is formed in the special style of the Arabic language. All deities are excluded by the first part or the reader. Allah is specified by the next part. Thus a point is emphasized. Its meaning is - Allah is the One and Only God. In every aspect of life, only Allah's commands and prohibitions must be followed. There is no way to follow anyone else's rules contrary to what Allah has given. By knowing these things and uttering the words La ilaha illallah a person enters Islam.
