4 Sons Long Live Simcoe Hazy IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Lots of tropical fruit and some other berry-like notes in the nose. There’s Simcoe in this, but weirdly the nose is decidedly...not. Nice hop profile, though, and slightly creamy body with a nice firm bitterness.

4 Sons Hazerface Hazy DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Smells massively of orange rind and pith, as well as a faint herbal note. Drinks with relatively aggressive bitterness and some more orange-juice flavor up front in the body. Quite juice-like body, and finishes with some lingering orange notes on your palate.

4 Sons Land of Hopportunity IPA (Picked up at Whole Foods in Tustin). A 3 of 4. Like the Imperial IPA I had from these guys, this IPA has a lot of malt character to it with some caramel and candy-like sweetness, which is quite nice. That’s not to say this isn’t hop-heavy - lots of citrus pith and juice qualities in the nose, and a more piney and earthy hop presence in the body. Sticky lacing and smooth mouthfeel, and quite well-balanced.
