In the following riddle there is only one solution which is helpful in the long run:

You´re driving down the road in a rough, stormy night. Suddenly you realize 3 people sitting at a bus stop, obviously waiting for the bus. 

1. an old lady, deathly sick

2. an old friend, who saved your life once

3. a girl/boy who might be the love of your life 

Your car is capable of carrying 2 persons only.

What are you going to do ?

Solution:

You ask your old friend to drive the old lady to a hospital (in your car) and take a seat next to the girl/boy who might be the right one, waiting together for the bus ;)

A hunter walks one mile in a southward direction. Then he moves one mile in a westward direction and hunts down a bear. Afterwards he walks a mile northward and is back at his starting point. What color is the bear ?

Solution:

The bear is white, because his starting point was the North Pole. Therefore it´s a polar bear.

Is a beer barrel more or less than half-full ?

It´s easy to find out, when the barrel is open. You don´t need any instrument.

How can you do this ?

Are you smart enough ? ;)

Solution:

Tip it over, till the upper edge is touched by the beer. Are you now able to see the bottom ? Yes: the barrel is less than half-full. No: the barrel is more than half-full.

Concentration #1 - Riddle #3

~ 3 light bulbs ~

3 light switches placed at a wall outside a windowless room are connected to 3 light bulbs placed at the inside of this room. How can you find out, which switch belongs to which bulb, when you are only allowed to enter the room once ?

Are you smart enough ? ;)

Solution:

Press the first switch, wait a few seconds and then turn it off. Then press the second switch and enter the room. The burning light bulb belongs to switch 2, the warm light bulb belongs to switch 1 and the cold one is connected to switch 3.
