no yeah i’m totally fine. nothing’s wrong. i’m just thinking about the implications of mack’s last few instagram posts (excluding any ads/pr posts). let’s rewind. first we have the absolutely gut-wrenching post-olympic loss photo dump set to “that’s life” by frank sinatra. which is just objectively heartbreaking because it’s about picking yourself back up after you’ve fallen down, trying so hard and coming up short. and then we have the infamous joint post between him and will. just a glorified fan edit of just them (minus the 1 second graf cameo) set to “e85” by don toliver which…i don’t even need to say anything. we all know what that’s about. but will posted it (and likely asked sharks media team to create it) so that he could say hey! my boy may have lost but we are back and better than ever! we work so well together! i am so happy to have him back by my side! skip over a couple of pr posts and then we’ve got today’s post. a beautifully curated photo dump (not all his own work i’m sure) including a photo of him and his boybestfriend gazing into each other’s eyes like they’re the only people out there on the ice, and the picture of the team dousing him with water after his record breaking goal. set to ella langley’s “loving life again.” just sit with that for a moment. will smith hockey and the sharks i hope you know that you have brought joy back to macklin celebrini’s life and we should all be so grateful
