In a sense this is a bit of a rest episode - a much needed one at that given everything we've been through recently. It excels at being that, and the particular lessons it imparts onto Coco in terms of how she'll get better at magic by incorporating it into her daily life are genuinely really lovely. But the rest isn't everything, as we're introduced to Olruggio this episode whom I already like a lot, as well as learn at least a little bit more about what Agott is seeking at the minute. It's all very nice and this was a delight to watch.

I think I've only maybe kind of alluded to it before but like, I know intellectually I'm not a contrarian or anything, and whenever I dislike whatever the popular acclaimed thing of the season is at the minute I always feel personally justified in my opinions and my ability to back it up. But you know, you hate enough popular things in a row and you start wondering, maybe I am just a contrarian asshole for no reason? And I bring this up to say I'm so glad I'm not just enjoying but actively loving Witch Hat Atelier. Sometimes everybody else is right about something and it's a nice feeling when it happens. Gaming.

Episode started with fucking Regulus and Betelguese and I knew right away Re:Zero was washed again. Shaula is annoying as fuck. I like monolith bit but only because I also like the word monolith. Subaru's random constellation knowledge solving the problem pissed me off but then I remembered he's demonstrated that character trait before so I'll give it a pass. That's it that's the episode.
