DJBC Holiday Tumblr 22 - The Holidays in Franklinton
We slapped together highlights from the November and December Franklinton Fridays, Festivus, and Songs on Sullivant, and an Open House at the Historic Harrison House as highlights from the Holidays in Columbus's oldest neighborhood, which celebrated its 225th birthday in 2022.

Right before going to Wonderball last month, we hit the May Franklinton Fridays - Flea Market, Record Store, and Comedy Show, plus 400, Chromedge, and the Vanderelli Room.
DJBC Tumblr Summer 22 - Franklinton FPriday & Friday Night at the Arts Festival
Friday night at the Columbus Arts Festival was super special, because the Big Local Arts Village helped bridge the gap between the festival, and Franklinton Fridays.
Franklinton Fridays is held on the second Friday evening of the month at 400 Square and the Franklinton Arts District, where studios and galleries stay open later.
And with June being Pride Month, Franklinton Pride took place as well. "Out, Loud, and Proud", curated by artist Felicia DeRosa was at the Vanderelli Room. Wild Goose Creative had a late night dance party, as well as the regular Franklinton Friday staples taking place (Friendship Flea Market, Donut Sunday Comedy, and Rich Street Records Pop Up, to name a few).
Meanwhile across the Scioto River, Shadowbox Live was the Friday night headliner at the Bicentennial Park Main Stage, with their production of "Flower Power". The Festival Patron Party, a private gala took place, as well.

Festivus continued at 400 Square on Saturday, which saw a severe change in the weather, as winds knocked the temperatures down from Friday night.

DJBC Holiday Tumblr 21 - Franklinton Festivus Fridays (Triple F) 2021
With today being the official day of Festivus, the airing of grievances, we'd thought that we would share highlights from the Columbus celebration of the holiday from the Festivus Festival, which kicks off with the December Franklinton Fridays in Franklinton on the second Friday in December.
Festivus returned to being 100 percent in person in 2021, after a mostly online Festivus in 2020 (with a dozen or so vendors in the courtyard of 400 West Rich).
Here are some of the highlights from the Franklinton Fridays part of Festivus.
