Never Forget 20 Years Later - Honor 365 World Trade Center
Tomorrow marks the 20th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks. Last month, an exhibit from Honor 365, featuring a replica of the World Trade Center from a 20 year-old Dutch firefighting trainee made its stop to the National Veteran's Memorial and Museum in Franklinton, before heading off to New York last week for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. Here were some highlights of this special exhibit, which came to the U.S. last winter from The Netherlands, with its first stop in Utah back in February.
On a side note, the Museum is holding a commemoration at 9AM tomorrow at their Museum in Franklinton (300 West Broad Street). Don't forget your masks when you attend.

A Year in the Life of COVID-19 - March 2021 (The Epilogue)
Here we come. We have come a complete full circle around. It has been more than one year of being stuck in quarantine. I'm tired. You're tired. We're all tired. Vaccinations are our only hope of expediting the return to normalcy. By the end of March, ALL Ohioans aged 16 and up will be eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine.
A shutdown that was supposed to last three weeks, has lasted over one year. Our economy was ripped to shreds. Our lives held hostage. Crime and violence have gone up. The inequities of women were exposed front and center again. And we're not even done, as Variant Strains of the Virus have been discovered.
We have learned the ins and outs of Virtual Learning, done the learning from home, worked from home, done viral videos from home, and while all that is fine and dandy, I can't wait to get back to my normal life. I can't wait to stop wearing masks. But until I get my vaccine, and all health orders cease, I will listen to what our health experts say, and you should too.
