40 Acts Act 3 Today we are spreading the word of Period Poverty. Take time to learn and donate today if you can please. Today at the Red Box Project we celebrate the strength of women worldwide but, at the same time, we feel deeply saddened at the injustices still faced by so many of our sisterhood across the world. Women menstruate. Periods are normal, a fact of life. Menstruation should not be a barrier to learning. Education and having absolute access to it is every girl’s human right, and yet young women are missing out on huge parts of their education, right now, in our own communities. Their resilience is astounding but they should not have to carry this on their shoulders. They are our inspiration to keep fighting to end period poverty. We believe that change will come and it will come because none of us has or ever will ever give up fighting for equality. Womanhood is love, strength and pure grit. We also NEVER give up. The hat is covering a multitude of hair sins BUT I love this Tshirt and I particularly love pairing it with this hoodie both I got from @nextofficial I know it’s two different shades of green but I think it works... Ash Wednesday 2017

Today marks the beginning of Lent for Catholics around the world.  We journey into the holiest season of the year.  This morning, I woke up with a clear mind and open heart and after a run, sat and reflected (in silence) about the season.  I’m starting my lenten season with 40 Acts of Kindness.  The first up: buying coffee for the man in the car behind me today at Starbucks.

You can start small, but you have to start somewhere.

Lent is here! Nana and I were late for mass but we still heard a good part of the homily. We had our foreheads crossed. I’m praying hard that I will be able to keep my resolutions this year.

I have always been a big supporter of doing Lent generously. Although I will be doing something more personal this year, I would still like to share this movement that keeps on inspiring.
