So that letter that the 47 conservative senators sent to Iran is blowing up in their faces right now, including but not limited to a 200 thousand plus signature filled petition calling for those 47 senators to be prosecuted. And a few of them are trying to walk it back. Among them is Senator John McCain, who is attempting to blame his signing of the letter on a DC snowstorm. Others are blaming Obama, claiming it’s his fault that they signed the damn thing.

No, seriously. This is a thing that’s happening. It’s so fucking dumb that under normal circumstances, I would be laughing my ass off, except for the fact that these idiots basically run the country.

I’m not a Republican.

I don’t know if I’m a Democrat either. But I feel betrayed that this 47 Senator thing even happened, because I feel that, by going behind everyone’s, including the PRESIDENT’S, backs, they made foreign politics about our parties. They made it about what a smaller group of people want. They made it about what they want.

Y’know what that means?

Fuck what the AMERICANS want. Fuck what’s best for AMERICANS. And then, by bringing this into foreign policy? Fuck what’s best for the rest of the world.

If we have age restrictions on who can run for offices in government, I’d like to assume the country isn't being run by a bunch of goddamn children.

I guess I’m just so upset because I've spent the past year hearing about these backdoor dealings between companies and government officials and all these screw-ups, and this was just such a blatant backstabbing. Just... Wow.
