Later Atlanta! Hello QC! SO happy to be home. Lately our weekends have been dedicated to #GrindAcademy #aaubasketball . This weekend, went as expected. We arrive d, went to the gym. Played our 1st game. As we waited for the 2nd game, I snooker away to a local thrift store. And grab their lunch as well. I get back in time for the next game. When the last game is over, we check into our hotel. Shower, get dressed and choose what's for dinner. By the time that is done, we are meeting up with either the team and parents, my old classmates/ friends/family in the area or all of the above. The next day, we will repeat all of the above OR go home. Either way, it's a win for us. 1. The boys get to travel a little bit outside of our local area. No crazy trips across country for us. 2. They are enhancing their intrapersonal communication skills. And I see how thier confidence is growing. 3. We are creating memories together. 3-5 of us sleeping in one bed kinda does that. 4. As a homeschool mom, using the team merchandise, rides to practice, and the like are EASY CARROTS to dangle over Thier heads as incentives to complete their chores. #homeschoolers #CharlotteFamilyEvents #aaubasketball #4MoreThanMe #GrindAcademy (at Atlanta, Georgia)
