└ Sasuga 5-man Arashi will always be 5.
Cr: VS Arashi 3hr Special 14.11.2019
I never thought that this day would come
I can’t yet talk about everyhting that I’m feeling - it’s too much, too much of sadness, of love and respect, of gratitude, of regret.
I just want to say one thing.
Life is strange, sometimes. I “met” Arashi two years ago, when I was at the lowest point in my life. I had been out of the hospital for a few weeks, and I was realising that the hospitalisation, which I thought was my last chance to win against my ED, had not worked. Nothing had changed. I was thinking that there was nothing left, that I had tried it all and that I would never come out of it.
And I met them, and they changed my life. I recovered. or rather, for the first time, I started actually wanting to recover.
We’re in 2019, and two weeks ago, I found a job, a job which will allow me to speak Japanese, and to be who I want to be. I will become financially independant, and face adult life completely, no shields left.
Not even Arashi. To me, it’s like the sky is sending a message to tell me that it’s ok, that I don’t need this shelter anymore (or not as much, not as the absolute certitude that they were until now). That I learnt what I had to learn, and that they are setting me free, just at the right moment. Just when I’m ready.
Together, we are letting go.
The timing is so incredible. It’s eyes-rollingly cliché, but I kind of feel like it was destiny, or like they are my guardian angels.
Thank you, Ohno-san, Arashi-san. You changed my life.
Be free.
