5/28/15 Bike Ride

Route:  SW Commuter trail, UW Arboretum, Wingra Creek path, Capital City trail, SW Commuter trail Bike:  Freedom Total Distance:  16.3 miles Total Time:  60 min Average Speed:  16.2 mph

It's been a long night but thanks for listening to me and my shitty venting and helping me smile and end my tears.

[afterthemd]

Things that were hard at the beginning of clinical:

Asking questions

Going after what I wanted to see

Talking to literally anyone above me casually

Volunteering to do *anything* I hadn’t done before

Things that are hard now:

Coming up with questions because I’ve asked so many

Not offending my clinical classmates when I run away mid conversation because I see something crazy going on and I don’t want to miss a second of it

Not asking the attending to let me touch things I know I can’t (although I’ve stopped asking to watch because if you pretend like you’re supposed to be there they don’t question it)

Not copping an attitude when the lab starts arguing with me when I’ve been sent with the attending’s orders

Not laughing when above lab tech gets yelled at by said attending

To sum up why I’m so happy: I bagged a patient today and feel so cool.
