Yesterday I got to walk in the pride parade with Growing American Youth. It was really fun. I walked with a sign that said in Russian, "I march for Russia." My friend translated it for me, but a girl pulled me aside and started speaking to me in Russian. I told her that my friend is from Moscow and she translated it for me. But I really want to learn to speak it.
I also got really burnt. One of my genius friends said that I wouldn't need it because I'm already tan -_- Aloe Vera is now my best friend.
When we started marching in the parade I think we had 20 short of our goal of 500 youth to march with us. But once people saw that we were youth, people were jumping the fences to join us. It was just plain out amazing.
