A concept:

Graf is down bad for a teammate he thinks he can’t have because he doesn’t want to screw up their line dynamics (in this universe of SingleDad!Will, we get an Eky/Mack/Graf top line with Cherny occasionally swapping in as Will won’t be an NHL player) by formally defining whatever the hell he and Eky are doing with each other off the ice…

Meanwhile, Eky is gnawing at the bars of his enclosure for Graf like the sweet-but-feral chaos gremlin he is, but he’s scared to take the leap himself because everyone he loves leaves eventually 🤪

EkyGraf is also lucky Mack has the observation skills of a walnut and Does Not Realize he’s sort of the filling in a chaotic emotional situation…and the cute guy from PR who’s new to the front office team as a distraction for the Sharks captain doesn’t hurt either
