In fact, they've already gotten to the point where they can be friends again. Fuji is deeply sorry for what he said to Heath, and his PTSD hasn't relapsed so far. Heath says he still can't trust Fuji, but he actually wants to stop such an awkward relationship already. The relationship can always be repaired🥹
Oh, and Heath should stop being jealous of Fuji. The main reason he's distancing himself from Fuji is that Fuji is in Mercedes. And he's doing reasonably well. So Heath is frustrated that he was only at Mercedes for one year, and he is jealous of Fuji all the time.
Sorry if I misunderstood your question, but I think if Fuji had been on the podium at the British GP, their relationship would have been much closer to repair. Fuji knows that Heath doesn't like him, but he celebrates for Heath's sake. He shakes his hand and says, “Congratulations!” to him with a smile. He sprinkles champagne on him and they drink together. Heath would not have minded that. He wouldn't have been offended if Fuji was P1. With a universe like that, they certainly got along quickly.
But the problem is if they will kiss. I'm struggling with that right now. Fuji likes Heath, but he might think they are friends. Heath thinks Fuji is cute and is a little aware of his feelings. But he tells himself that's not true and pretends he doesn't know. Someone please tell them that you guys should date. Encourage them to kiss each other!
