I think Lauren and Mani will be the "leads" now. They are the most photogenic ones, Lo is the most famous and outspoken one, Mani is the best dancer. What you think?
I think there will be no “obvious” leads this time, the way they did Camila. But I see Lauren as the face of 5h coz she’s such a fan favorite, not to mention, controversial, and eloquent. And Dinah and Mani as the solid frontrunners when it comes to choreo. Ally is ally, she’s Allysus, no one can touch her lol.
But it’s still gonna be an equal distribution, just them COMPLEMENTING each other and not outshining the others. Like even if Lauren would now POSSIBLY get some of Camila’s parts, it will still be like one member shining for one moment, and then she’s gonna fade into the background so the others could showcase their strengths. Like a rotation. Like how a girl group with equally talented members should be.
I mean Camila did everything (I’m not saying it’s her fault): she danced, she sang, she did the good runs and adlibs that stood out.. In short, she was everywhere, she was at the front, most of the time, which resulted to the girls getting overshadowed. Again, I’m not saying it’s Camila’s fault. It’s just how the ship was run, and I think now they’re gonna change it up a bit. I hope.
Now we are actually hearing all of them and their harmonies, and they are allowing each member to have their own moments (like Ally playing with her vocals, Lauren giving a new spin to Camila’s verses with her raspy voice with a touch of high notes, and NORMINAH slaying the stage with their solid ass dancing, and also Dinah’s adlibs and runs) and I think that’s the best course for them and I think they are aware of it as it was shown in their PCA performance.
That’s just my opinion.. Or maybe wishful thinking.
